  1. CrashO

    Night sessions

I only use it for instrument navigation and landing practice. And the occasional PvP fight. For ground attacks, not so much. Maybe when DCS get's support for ground radar. Although I mainly fly the Mirage, which has good navigation systems and a virtual runway for easy bad visibility landings. Makes it a lot more fun then trying to land a FW-190 Dora at night in a storm.. [ame] [/ame]

    Landing

But after landing, before taking of again, you want the trim centered again. So on landing it sounds the warning because trim is applied (and weight on the wheels is detected). You press reset trim, and the warning goes away. Because neutral trim is a takeoff clearance requirement (DECOL) Seems to me, it works as intended?
  3. Try this http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2822647#post2822647
  4. Running beta? Nothing to do with Caucasus mod. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=169019
  5. I can confirm this
  6. Alot.. One thing that might be good to know, after the update, after I enabled all mods again. The game would not start again.. Pressed the icon, nothing happens. No crash, no message (no visible process in my taskmanager). Nothing. So I started enabling mods 1 by 1 and found one, that if enabled, caused the game to not start. "229th Combined Objects Mod 1.4" Full list of mods I (was) running (although is disabled all of them before updating). 229th Combined A-10C Mod (Ricardo Cockpit) 229th Combined Objects Mod 1.4 229th Combined Objects Mod 1.4.1 229th Combined Sound Mods 1.9 229th Combined Views Mod 1.2 229th Terrain Mod - Northern Europe 1.1 Kuky's Dust Trail for 2.0 feb 4 No Pilot Voice Mod for Use with Voice Activation Software NVG Mod M-2000 - Werewolf Starways Black Sea map 2.0 Sweetfx VAC ATC Menu Mod -v1.0 (by whartsell) And a lot of liveries/skins
  7. I am having the same problems (black screen after going into options and pressing OK). I had disabled all mods before update. Current things tried: Remove all mods Repair installation Remove input directory from saved games Remove entire DCS.openbeta directory (so all settings possible) from Saved Games. Problem remains. dcs.log.txt
  8. Smokewinder beladen? (Außenansicht (F2) zu überprüfen)
  9. den Rauch? T :)
  10. So is Chuck :pilotfly: His last revision is 2 weeks old (and contains stuff like the FBW test and fuel cutoff).
  11. Trabajo en progreso Official Campaign thread
  12. Or contact him here on the forums, in his own (English) m2000c thread :D http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=167586 He has posted a link there to a page with a huge amount of pictures and dimensions ( https://goo.gl/photos/LrhustESFDuX2LaR8 ) :smartass: (the same as on the page Jojo linked on checksix, but for people who can't read french without google translate :Waves )
  13. Nice! Was looking for some good measurements a few weeks ago. As I wanted to replicate the PCA. These will help, alot !
  14. Yep... There should be something like a sticky with READ ME IN CASE OF PROBLEMS AFTER UPDATE or something as a title, with the biggest changes at any point (and how to use/fix them). This happens way too often and it would save a lot of forum posts after a large change. :smartass:
  15. This was a session of mine (CrashOverDrive) in the 104th a few nights ago. It's not a real economical KD ratio (slightly above 1)..tax payers are not going to like me :music_whistling: But against a force consisting of mainly F15's and Su-27's, it shows the Mirage can certainly hold her own. As long you can play her strengths. Fly low and fast on radar standby, fly towards targets at your RWR. Turn on radar and try to close the gap while flying on TWS. When in range, pop up. Switch to STT and fire immediately. I almost always hit my targets. It's only after my initial target is dead.. I'm usually screwed, because I'm always waaaay behind enemy lines by the time I pop up..
  16. Link in the startpost helps alot with the torrent, it's starting to kick off now :D Should help with the speed, A LOT!
  17. Does this magnet link work? I'm seeding it (and have 1 peer so far @ 1MB/s). But that was from a .torrent file, so not sure if the magnet link works (WeTransfer works fine, but might block it same as dropbox with excessive use) Caucasus Texture DLC TORRENT If we can get enough seeds this torrent will work better in the long run :)
  18. The S in CEST stands for Summer, not Standard time :smartass: So 19:00 ZULU is correct.
  19. Same place you can find it for every DCS module you own. On your drive. DCS World/mods/aircraft/<plane>/doc *edit* Just checked the version of it, last revision is 7th of april. So you might wanna snag a Chucks guide whilst you're ad it. [last revision 28th of may]
  20. Ideally, they would have done so once it become known they couldn't offer the textures in the store after having Starway work on them for a year, and forced him to do this. The polite thing to do, would have been to pay him for it and offer it up as a complementary update for the 10+ year old textures they sell with brand new $60 planes. :pilotfly:
  21. KC-135 does speed jumps too. (with M2000). Watch my airspeed.. (and it had already started gaining speed from the moment I had pre-contact) [ame] [/ame]
  22. Probably when it's coming out of beta (or is at-least feature complete). In the mean time, you can buy every other modules except those 2 on steam and just use them on a stand-alone DCS install? You can use steam bought modules on the standalone DCS install without a problem. (other way around does not work). At the dcs website under the profile tab, you can enter your steam key for the module and link it to your account.
  23. Lack of power from the battery. If you want the lights to go off without starting the engine. Just request ground power :D (proper procedure anyway for the Mirage).
  24. Make sure the "Coupe-Feu" switch is set to the right (down). It's next to the fuel pump switches (and starter). It's the switch covered with the open orange cover. It's for the fuel shut-off valve. And has to be down to be able to start the engine. *This has been the procedure since 2 updates ago or something (on the beta) :) And if you manage to start it, you will encounter a DECOL warning light on the warning panel (= no takeoff clearance)l. To get rid of it you have to perform FBW test (lift red cover by your left butt-cheek (says test over it somewhere), wait for green light, flip switch back, close cover). It's in the manual
