Hi, What can you tell us regarding the DCS FM in respect to the real deal?

I will buy it when it is finished maybe 2 years after early access release. These unfinished planes take hours and hours of time finding out, what is and what is not implemented.

We sim freaks should stop buying half finished products.................as soon as the money is in their pockets they jump over to the next model and tease us with new JPEGS and fake video's. Dont you see a pattern here guy's or am I just beeing very sarcastic?!

There is defenitly a lot wrong with the Mig21 as it is now: it's slow and underpowered and stalls all the time even when going vertical. I used to be able to beat the F-4 quiet easily in the "instant actions" missions, but now it's just impossible. The max. AOA is way too low now, which cuases it to stall in a dogfight all the time.........................My favorite plane is totally ****ed up now :-(

Heatblur seems to have some serious consistancy problems in their dev. trajects. Always one fix for 2 bugs. They never get out of early release mode. Same applies to both Mig 21 and Viggen. But nevertheless, their detail and realism is the best of all models.

And HOW to CAGE?!!

Mirrors are not working diliberately, some rendering issue, known bug.

I checked your mods........no improvement whatsoever. You completely screwed up the wood grain textures. The "no shine" effect from global illumination you also degraded to something undefinable. Do you really think you can better the DCS professionals with this??!

I would play MP on line all day if I can find a descent server wich allows me to use my own controller settings as well. Now I dont even border te look any more :-(

The Kurfurst is my favorite prop plane of all planes, hard to handle, always challenging :joystick: PLay it 30% of my dcs play time.

I just tried and they launch like they should in SAR mode.

Are the radars en RWR working as described in the manual? If not I don't want to spend time figuring out what is working / implemented and what is not....totally frustrating.

I tested 2.00 and 2.03. 2.03 works good without the yellow overlay that occurs in 2.00. :-) Wow, makes the planes look beautiful with a deeper shiny metal surface, more realistic !!!

Use the IR missiles and you don't need the radar at all! For the long distance I always use SAR missiles and very short range the IR missiles and radar turned off.

Hi, Here in Lelystad (The Netherlands) we have a Viggen. It was gifted by the Swedish Airforce. Maybe it even flies when you put some fuel in it :-) . I will have a look at it again this week. [ame] [/ame]

I really have to agree with BadHabit. Maybe there is something wrong with their software-development methods or communication with ED. I really hate unfinished products with manuals pretending everything is working!! I cost me hours to test and find out that the SPS-141-00 module is still not finished either as ais the afterburner effects. Yesterday same with the red-lighting. Just put a comment on the pop-up help labels on buttons stating modules are work in progress!!! That' not difficult to do, is it? Not very promising for the real prestigious TomCat project, which is much more difficult then the Mig21. Although I love the Mig21Bis, I will not buy the F14 on release.

I noticed the sound quality too, the M2000c in cockpit sounds are much better and 3d now.
