Hi everyone, I've been working on a mission in DCS based on the Falklands Conflict I original produced back in 2018, https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3102536/, specifically focusing on the air defence of British ships during the attack on RFA Sir Galahad and RFA Sir Tristram at Bluff Cove. The mission centers around a CAP (Combat Air Patrol) flown by British Harriers as they protect the fleet from Argentine air attacks. Mission Overview: Time Frame: June 8, 1982 Aircraft: Sea Harriers from No. 800 NAS Objective: Provide air cover for the British fleet and engage incoming enemy aircraft. Key Events: Includes coordination with HMS Intrepid SAR operations for downed pilots, and ongoing naval bombardment at Mount Kent and Stanley. Scenario: Harrier pilots Flt Lt Morgan and Lt Smith engage four A-4 Skyhawks and ensure the safety of British ships in a high-pressure combat environment. Current Features: Custom dialogue with radio calls between pilots, HMS Hermes, HMS Intrepid, Pilots and SAR units. Dynamic enemy air attacks, requiring strategic response from the player. Naval bombardment in progress, adding an extra layer of complexity to the mission. As close as I can find out to true events ,weather and units. Balancing difficulty to ensure both seasoned pilots and newer players can enjoy the mission. Creating a multi-player mission. CombatFlite integration. Ground force voice overs Create a lite version (Less Mods) Known Bugs: Game crash if F2 is pressed to soon at mission start. ok after 5 seconds Wingman can sometimes hit the rear of your aircraft if you leave your parking spot too soon. Feedback Needed: AI behaviour: Any suggestions on improving enemy AI aggressiveness and tactics would be appreciated. Voiceover/Dialogue: I’m working on adding more authentic radio chatter. If anyone has tips on making it sound more realistic or tools for text-to-speech, I’d love to hear them. Mission Flow: Is the pacing of engagements and tasks smooth? Does the mission keep you engaged without feeling overwhelming? Units: Are the skins correct and units correct I would really appreciate any feedback, whether it’s about bugs, mission flow, or ideas for improvement. This mission is still a work in progress, so any suggestions will help me refine it into something great for the community. I would really like to see UK infantry added. I started creating my own in blender but I'm new to it and having issues. Would you like to finished it? Your expertise is far superior to my skills and your other infantry addon is fantastic work. -
I have been using this mod with the latest OB with no problems but when it comes to uninstalling the mod DCS will no longer start up and will crash. No mods in JSGME and removed via the program, I've also tried using the BAT for uninstalling but no luck. DCS will now only start with 3DmigotoDCS_VR_7.0 installed in JSGME. There is a model (edm) already in the DCS folder. The skin works for that model by changing the db countries file. -

Sea King anybody? I know the livery is not spot on but the texture file uses mirroring so it the best i can do. -

Well I didnt sus it out, never mind. Thank you for the help! I did spend the rest of the day messing with the deck textures though, adding oil stains and marks. -
Trying to get a liveries to work for a the Hermes ship VR hanger menu. I can get the default model but I'm stuck trying to change the Liveries. Any help would be appreciated. sceneVR.lua

Great work on the on this Joey45 very much appreciated. I am trying to create a VR scene with the Hermes but for the life of me i cant change the liveries to the R12 and I am only getting the default . Can anybody help? Updated to the latest version but is this mod is interacting with the Supercarrier module for some reason. With the mod enabled and using a super carrier mission, the carrier is missing and the all the planes spawn in their parking positions somewhere on land. I'm using JSGME to install and remove for testing. Regards -

Thank you Fred41! The Holy Grail for the G940. I just tried this out, wow what a difference it made. Tested with the F14B, instant feedback holding a two finger stick. I had been having a problem with trimming forever. This patch has sorted a lot of the G940 problems out. Smoother more responsive set up on all of the axis. Its like a completely different joystick! I am using: 101% FFB 58% Spring 81% damper 0% Centering spring.

I have also noticed that the G940 does not center correctly with the original FFB profile. So you have pull back on the slightly stick to neutralize it then hold will engage, but as soon as you let the stick go it drops forward of center and disengages hold. If using SIM FFB program the altitude hold works but we lose stick shake.
