I have this curiosity because i know usually pilots turn it off after engine start-up in order to don't waste fuel, but neither the tutorial and the manual help me. I want to know if it's better to turn it off or it needs to stay in on position and if i do that, does DCS implement the fuel consumption due to the operaton of the APU?

I like very much Korean War's aircrafts and it wolud be cool have something more about it such as F-84G/F, F-80, F9F, A-1, Mig-9, and so on... but now DCS needs some modern aircraft (F-18, F-14, F-4, Eurofighter, Tornado...) and these aircrafts are easier for ED too sell (i think).

And don't forget the F-104

BF-109 and Yak-52 have no comparable flight prices, of course an historic military aircraft is more expensive to fly. For the second topic ED first of all would implements the double on-line seat to show the players what really is and for second Yak-52 is a very wanted aircraft by sim pilots so all people who fly it in FSX discover DCS and probabily will buy more modules, it'a sort of sponsor.

What do you think about a YAK-52 as free clickable cockpit plane despite the TF-51? To me the free complete aircraft in DCS has in importat role: to train new rookie pilots and i don't think the TF-51 is the most appropriate aircraft. For this role the Yak-52 is the best plane i think, just think it about: it's less dangerous, it has a much easier start-up procedure, less torque so for neophytes is a more gestible engine and esier to fly, it has a tricycle undercarriage, it's an aerobtic plane so it forgives many mistakes of the pilot and it has a dual seat where the instructor (alias an expert DCS pilot) could teach inside the cockpit. At the same time it has all the features of a military plane such as flaps, retractable gear, closed cockpit... And don't forget the most important thing: it's very very cheap for ED to make it 'couse it's a civil plane. I'm not saying to remove the TF-51 but to alongside him with the yak, or maybe make it free to download. P.S: Of course before this ED have to finish the F/A-18.

Awesome, i'm very glad o see the Mirage III and that the AT-27 has been replaced by the A-29 and love the attention you give to us. I want to know if the Tornado is still in program, i remember an old post in this forum where you guys shared the very early 3d model of that plane, it is absolutely the plane i'm waiting most, please can you tell us something about this bird?

I'm not a modder but i know there is a mod for this plane

I know there are many many other more important planes than this but what do you think about this aircraft? AMX is a fighter-bomber made by a cooperation between Italy and Brazil that became operative in 1989, it can carry GBU-12s, AIM-9, unguided bombs, targeting pods, rockets ecc... It a sort of very cheap F/A-18 Hornet. The main difference between the italian version and the brazilian one is that Italy has a 20mm M61 Vulcan and Brazil has two 30mm DEFA 550 cannons. I would like very much to fly this plane and i want to know if you like it too and which version do you prefer.

at this point it's better to ask the SEPECAT Jaguar and F-16...

You know what it could be awesome? An AC-130 with the multy crew feature. Just imagine the epicness to fly that baby mainwhile other players are detroying every single enemy atom with ridiculous big cannons in cooperation with A-10s. I don't know if the AC-130 have any air refuel capabilities (like KC-130) but if it is it could be a very interesting feature in online game (expecially with the F-14 and F/A-18 incoming).

Polychop please, can you post something about this bird? You are my hope to have the Tornado on DCS, it would be an instant purchase. I like very much the ADV version but any other Tornado would be awesome!!!

I've noticed the f-117 in DCS isn't stealth like you can see in the screenshot, i wish it become stealth in the near future, it could be an interesting (and realistic) feature in PvE matches. Also the SAM managed to shoot down some F117s.

Certainly U-2 and SR-71 are beautiful planes but i don't think that these plane are suitable with the game for the simple reason that you have nothing to do unless fly around. I admit that it would be a nice DCS feature but I think that now DCS needs more fighter.

Of course I think that F-4 would be awesome but I really like to see in DCS some vietnam and korea birds like the F-104, Mig-23, Mig-25 or 31. But the planse that i want more are the F-84F or maybe the reconnaissance version: RF-84F, and the Panavia Tornado (maybe the ADV version). I see the FSX model of this plane made by Sim Skunk Works and it looks fantastic.
