VNAO CVW-7 and CVW-14 runs it most days and keeps it up to date. But we do remove it when it breaks, as it has a couple of times. It is a good mod.

Don't be nervous. As long as it looks good and traps the deck, it's gonna be a hit.

I would very much like to see this updated for blender 2.8.. bumping this in hopes that it leads to just that.

Coming soon. VNAO is working on an LSO Platform mod for VR that allows you to stand on the LSO platform and watch recovering aircraft while seeing the platcam view on the LSO display. It works utilizing the Oculus Mirror utility and a model created by Particleman. It is still definitely a work in progress, but here is a first look and test.

One more shot.

Got some new training skins for the recruits. Modeled after the T-45 Goshawk used in the US Navy. We could have used the Hawk module, but with the problems it has and the added expense we decided a repaint would be the way to go. Also, it is a fictitious squadron designation. But, it puts our new people in a plane until they get trained up.

We may be interested in doing some joint operations with Huey groups and if we get enough interested folks, who knows? There might be a Huey squad in VNAO before long.

For VFA-103 we are very early in recruitment. Since I live and breathe in the Pacific Time Zone, all recruits should be able to make evenings in that time zone. As for what commitment? I expect that everyone's level of commitment is different depending on their real lives. However, going forward I would like to see pilots be able to fly at least twice a week. Training for fully mission capable carrier based operations in either the Tomcat or the Hornet is going to be demanding. All I ask for is a willingness to learn and a great attitude. Come fly with us, and see if you like what we do. If you don't fit, we can part ways as friends and meet in the skies over the Strait of Hormuz. If you do fit, what an adventure we will have. VNAO And VFA-103 I am happy to re-introduce the VNAO which has stood up once again. In addition to Jar's VFA-113 Stingers and Icefire's VCVW-11 The VFA-103 Jolly Rogers squadron is also manning up for service in the rebirth of VNAO
