  1. Check the file I posted above and see if that helps the problem. My guess is not that the "basic" score disappears but that the second part is never applied. In general, mission objectives bound to flag triggers are far superior to any triggers bound to anything else so I changed it around a bit. Otherwise I will dig into it this weekend. Wierd thing is, the previous solution worked for me. I had the same bug, fixed it and could proceed the campaign normally since I played every mission to make sure progression worked as it should.   2. I feel like the majority of the bug fixing I do in my campaigns are related to the way the score system works in DCS. Missions have to pass score or they get yeeted back to the previous mission and the system itself can be really finicky when you want to do something specific with it. So, as a person who makes linear campaigns, I beg you to just add a setting that says "mission complete". If X happens, the mission is won. No ifs, no buts, no score. Just a simple "victory" or "defeat" setting. You can keep the score system of course but alongside it, a simply "this single thing makes you win the mission and proceed to the next one" would be very helpful. Addendum: Bonus points for multiple endings such as "if X happens, go to mission 2A, if Y happens, go to mission 2B".
  3. J20Stronk: Are you playing the latest version? If you do, you should get a popup that says "MISSION COMPLETE. YOU MAY NOW RTB AND END THE MISSION. " If this does not show up, download the latest version but ONLY replace the .miz files so your progression is saved. Mission 3 contained a bug that could cause the mission to not be completed but it has been fixed in the latest release. If you are playing the latest release, let me know and I will look at it again. With the casualties from Russian invasion of Georgia and conflict in Chechnya making Putin's rule more unpopular in many parts of Russia as well as effects from the 2007-2008 financial crisis in the United States, many Russian Citizens long for a return to the old ways, lending further support for the Soviet leaders in hiding. November 2013, they make their move triggering a coup with military support. The coup however fails due to overwhelming support for Putin in the west and north of Russia. The Soviets fall back to their heartland of central and eastern russia and prepare to take power the long and hard way. The Second Russian Civil War has begun.   5. OPERATION BLACK BEAR 1.5 PATCH NOTES This is intended to the be final version of the Operation Black Bear Campaign. Most of the bugs I come across has been fixed, including some I discovered by off chance. I have also changed a few things to better suit the timeframe; mostly aircraft and made some missions less frustrating i.e compensating for the game engine. I have furthermore added a Co-Op Campaign, meant for two Players. To implement these effects, you have to download the package again.   6. To answer a question from Twitter: The reason there are no overview maps of the flight path is to simulate the reduced resources available to Kuban Security. They essentially get handed a target from Russian Command and a timeframe. The second reason is that I want the player to trust the JF-17 Thunders systems. Navigation is fairly easy in the Jeff but a person who may simply look at a flight map and the F-10 Map may never learn it properly. So I rather force the player to rely on the built-in navigational aids. I have not decided what the next project will be but there is a part of me that considers sending Kuban Security and their Jeffs to the Syrian Civil War. It would be interesting but considering the sensitive topic would be difficult to write a story around. I don't want to make it "Syrian Warfare" style.
  7. If you have not played it yet, I would advise holding off for a few days. 1.5 should - if all goes as planned and with many bug fixes - release sometime next week.
  8. Mission 2 is the mission where you destroy the bridge and due to the creative methods I have to use to make the mission trigger, you HAVE to use the GBU-16. There was also a problem with mission complete trigger This made a lot of people "fail" the mission even tough the bridge was destroyed. Confirmed fixed in 1.4: Thanks but no donations necessary. My current goal is to update Operation Black Bear to Version 1.5. I am playing through it and see what I need to fix or update and recording it on my Youtube Channel. Once done, I will cut the material to a trailer and call it done and hopefully nothing will break the campaign in the future :P

  12. I will look into it. However, I got a job recently so I do not have as much time as I used to. That said, I wish ED would just give a clear "mission passed" or "mission failed" instead of bothering with these god annoying points. The Campaign was never meant for more experienced players, just as a novel way to experience the Jeff systems :) Did however find the reason for the loadout bug on Mission 2. I will try to fix as many loadout bugs I can this morning and upload a new version so that is not an issue at least. Also noticed one or the other update seems to have reset the liveries on the Viggen. Will fix that. Mission 2 completion bug has also been given a new condition so it triggers a flag. If you hear that your bomb hit, that should now be the mission completion condition. Do note that using the GBU-16 is required.

  19. UPDATE: BUG FOUND AND WILL BE FIXED IN NEXT UPDATE. Not entirely sure it is a bug. I tried the RB 05 in the LUFT mode and several times, the missile flew past the target at close proximity without detonating.   20. If Deka can prove their model is based on real statistics, leave it as it it. If it is proven unrealistic, alter it so it is. Balance have no place in a simulation.
  21. There are cases - abeit few - where you do not wish unlimited ammo to munitions but may want it for guns and do not wish to restrict the entire mission. For this reason, I suggest the addition of a "Unlimited Gun Ammunition" option for the Game Options and Mission Editor. The effects is simple, gun ammunition is unlimited, rest works as usual.

  23. There are a number of German infantrymen KIA or captured because the RB 75 does not destroy targets. I hope you can live with that because the Viggen drivers cannot be faulted :joystick:
  24. The camel silhouettes on the port side of the fuselage designate the 39 missions flown in the Gulf War. The joke being that bombs hit desert and in the desert there are camels IIRC. Source: My callsign is Shooter.
  25. Not technically a bug as the mission parameters are set to just give you time to wreak havoc on the airbase but assigning a specific target was against the entire idea of the mission. This is the kind of stuff that makes me think "why on earth does ED have to insist on using the score system when nobody use it for branching missions anyway because that is too big a hazzel". I wish they just had "Win" "draw" or "loss". where Win is progressing and the latter two is replaying. Will look into it.
