NICE!!! Rep Inbound buddy

A while back i redid the texture of the pilots parachute. I saved it as the correct file format, same name, everything. I first dropped it into temp textures to see what it looked like.. When i went to test it however the parachute didn't change at all. I then went even further and inserted it into the CDDS file. It still didn't work. Does anyone know how to get it to work? I found a mod at check six where it replaced the parachute for the pilot and got it to work , but the link was broken.. Any help would be appreciated. PS: Does anyone know where the parachute file for the SU-27 and Mig-29 is? Edit: I think they both use the same file

I know it is.. I've done a cockpit texture overlay i guess you can say for the 27 and the 33.. what i want to know is how they got gauges in different spots...

lol well maybe if they can PM the info... Just thinking about rearranging some stuff so its a little more convenient.. just mess around a bit you know,,,

I've always wondered how ADA mod has managed to rearrange the cockpit of the Mig-29 so it looked different. Everyone says "Oh its hard codded".. that maybe true but how did ADA mod rearrange everything? I just want to know how...

lol just watch dogfights the future episode.. they show the inside of the cockpit like 5 times on the f-22.. not sure if its reliable but its something

F-22 raptor model for F-15 maybe? I dont know how it would work... but maybe you can get the thrust vectoring when u pull up or push down... just a idea...

Agree'd planes did use red lights in cockpit. This was especially true for the late world war 2 planes. The hellcat is an example. Red is still used today, but its not the only one... (ps: i wasnt aiming for accuracy with the gauges... i just got sick of the old cockpit that's all..)

Here's what i did for my squadron. I customized the Su-27 and Su-33 Cockpits so that everything looks nice and stands out.

That is awesome!! Think i just came in my pants lol jk!!! Can you make this work for the sim-mod a-10. Perhaps make it one of the options to customize the skins?

Side Note: These helmets that are used in the f-15 are not compatible with the Walmis f-15. If you have the Walmis f-15 model, then this will not show up.

Well you could try this combination... I just happened to stumble by this mod in lockonfiles while reading this post. http://www.lockonfiles.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=131&lid=1123&ttitle=New_Cannon_shells#dldetails makes the shells look more realistic... perhaps that combined with a little bit of the trassertail.tga will do something...

Perhaps this could be a suggestion to the next release of tacview. Make it so that tacview can not be running while Lock On is running. No idea how the tacview scripting is made, but if they can create a script that allows people to supposively cheat, I'm sure the next tacview can have a script that wont let it and lock on run at the same time but wont let tacview run without it.
