  1. hello, i still have to face the same problem, i can't install fc2 on my new seven64. because my flaming cliff is impossible to launch. let me tell you all the process. i have a gold version cd. i install first lockon on HDD "E" (not on "c" on wich i have my seven system) lockon works well i install flaming cliff on the same HDD i launch FC on seven with admin rights star force is installing and asks to reboot i answers "no" i run the patch from star force web site to update sarforce. star force is asking for a reboot to finish update. i reboot when i launch fc i have this message : and it is impossible to lauch flaming cliff if i try to go directly to the FC2 patch, install it and launch FC2 (dowloaded version) with my serial number, the aplication says that it can't find FC1.1 i don't know what to do and at this point i really need your help. thank's
  2. i never realy notice fps drops with my mods as soon as the file are converted in cdds files and drop in the bazar/world file
  3. i have to increase resolution more than i thought at the begining to have a consitent quality in game because of ED's way of maping the game. if you take for exemple "KA-50 INTERIOR ENG.bmp" the doors on side have diferent sizes. and the back panel left is half of the size of the doors. in game your eyes are at the same distance of the doors and that left-back panel. so your perception in game is that screws on the right door are sharp and the same screws on left one is smooth and the back panel's one are blured. the only way to solve this is to have a file of "8192 pixels" and only very performing GC will manages such big files.
  4. for this problem, i don't have solutions at the moment. the way ED decided to work seems a bit...strange. on the same file you will have for exemple the right door scale 1 and the left door (that has the same scale in game) scale 0,5 so to keep a consistent feeling in game i have to double the scale of the bmp file and the smalest door wil look correct and the "too high def door" will look also good. but where things are more complicated is thoses "grey areas" in reality if the bmp document for exemple is 120cmX120cm this grey area is a square of 1cm hidden in the midlle of 30 differents textures areas. the game extends this cm extremely. so : first chalenge finding where is that cm (i don't have any templates from ED) second one if i find it put the right color to match the rest of the cockpit. my conclusion is that there is no way to solve that problem.....:doh:

  8. some screens of the wip. all the roof is done, the left back panel, windows right and left, all the collectif back area, some electric wires ect.
  9. no names, i can understand that people get impressed by the quantity of work when they discover the real files... modding is like modelism, patience and precision...:smartass:
  10. hello guys, i spent too much time on fc2, i had to change a bit.... i sent photoshop files for a russian translation 6month ago, but the work was not done at all. i might work on the 25 but i heard that a 6dot is going to be released by ED, so i will finish first the KA50.:thumbup:

  12. hello, i still pend a lot of hours on that mod. Now, i have done all the hud area, side doors and left back panel. i still have all the dashboard to do, and the right high panel. of course all instruments. unfortunatly, i have been working on 8192 dpi on the mod but i have to reduce by half that size to alow the textures to be in game. i have been told that graphic cards don't manage files over 4096dpi. can you comfirm that? if it is right, which cards of the new gen manage bigger files? ps i have a nvidia gts 250
  13. hello, most of the time, when i use the "long distance launch" to send two vickr at the same time, the first two missiles fire correctly but when i want to do another shoot, only one fires. is there any particular procedure to use this mode?

  18. starting slowly, this pit is complicated, because i didn't had any answer from ed developers about the templates. i spend hours seaching each litle peace of texture in the origin files. but now, all the hud is new, the front area is also completely rebuild. it will take ages but the result will be great, for sure.:smartass: cheers.

  21. hummm, le patch français s'approche..... voilà une bonne nouvelle. bravo aux bénévoles qui se sont investi dans ce projet. mais par la suite comment vont vivre les versions A10, par rapport à cette version française? devra t-on tout réinstaller sur une version anglaise?

    bonjour, sais tu si son instalation sera complexe? la version française classique nécessitait déjà "deux couches" de patch par dessus le "disque français" défectueux de la première série....? j'ai un peu d'apréhention de devoir tout réinstaller avec mes nombreuses modifs ce config et de profils....:cry:

    bonjour, le pach black shark 1.02 semble être sorti. il permet de jouer en coopération avec FC2 comment l'installer sur une version française?
