Yea I deleted the Lock On folder that was left behind after the un-install so any mod problems would have been taken care of. I'll give that a try :) One thing that I did notice, that could have been the cause of the problem but I don't know how, is that I was listening to Winamp when I started up LOMAC, and played with Winamp playing music at the same time. That's when I first noticed that my mouse wasn't working ingame.

Yesterday my external and cockpit mouse-look just randomly stopped working. I changed nothing so I'm really confused because it worked perfectly before. I even un-installed it, did a registry clean, re-installed and then set CockpitMouse = true and ExternalMouse = true in view.lua, MouseCockpit = 1 and MouseExternal = 1 in view.cfg and CockpitMouse = true in cockpit.lua but it STILL didn't work! Right now I'm lost since I don't know what else I can do. I'm running LOMAC V1.02. Here are my view.lua, cockpit.lua and view.cfg: view.lua cockpit.lua view.cfg Would really appreciate some help.

I thought it'd be cool to check out some fighter documentaries but I have no clue which ones are good or not. I found one about the A-10 (I know it's not a fighter) but I was SOOO boring! It was mostly just guys on the ground talking about the plane and how much they love it and stuff. I just don't wanna go through that again! So please list some good ones here, would really appreciate it.

Has anyone been able to make the HDR look more like natural lighting? Would be cool if you could upload your settings :)

Okay I can't take it anymore! Singleplayer without being able to save is just too much. I've decided not to get Flaming Cliffs and I'm gonna take Modern Air Combat back to the shop tomorrow. I'm sick of games only catering for online play; not everyone has high speed internet. If you decide to one day fix this major issue then please send me an e-mail ED, but I think that will be highly unlikely. Cheers guys

Well the main reason why I wanted to save while in game was because it's so damn difficult. So if I dodged a missile or shot down a bandit I'd save straight away! Why has this issue never been fixed, surely it wouldn't be too hard? And for a lot of gamers, online play isn't an option.

Because then the patch won't actually patch the game. It'll just dump it's files into the "D:\Program Fi" folder that it makes.

I installed Lock On Modern Air Combat v1.0 and then updated it to v1.02. I then installed Lock On Flaming Cliffs v1.1, but when I try to update it to v1.12b I run into a weird problem. My Lock On is installed in "D:\Program Files\Lock On", but when I try to patch it the patch points to "D:\Program Fi". So I clicked on Browse and tried to direct it to "D:\Program Files\Lock On" but then it doesn't allow me to press OK. And if I just copy the location of Lock On and paste it into the Destination Folder text field, the Install button gets grayed out. I don't know what to do, isn't it supposed to patch the Lock On folder? Would really appreciate some help, thanks.

Oh snap! :joystick: So how do I stop the afterburner from turning on once ACS has been turned off?

First off what's ACS and AGL :huh:. And secondly is there a way to make the plane do a proper auto-landing for you? I can't seem to get it right since I'm always fighting the "minimum speed!" woman

I was having a few attempts at landing my Su-27 but failed to succeed. I then found out about auto-throttle and auto-height in the input options, so I gave 'em a try. I was surprised that when both where turned on they acted like an auto pilot; they did the last turn for me to line up for a landing and took me down to the right speed and height. So I got all relaxed and started checking out my plane and all the cool scenery around it. Then, when I was about 50 meters off the ground and about 50 meters from the runway ahead of me, I suddenly heard the afterburners kick in and both the auto-throttle and auto-height deactivated and I went skyrocketing into the air, I just felt like saying :helpsmilie:! Is this an error or is that supposed to happen?

It's not fixed?! Then why am I even getting FC! I can't believe they haven't attempted to fix such a simple (for them at least) problem; every game allows you to save and load! Has anyone from the community maybe made a fix for the save error? The reason I ask is because I live in South Africa AND have a 96k wireless internet connection, so my distance + slow internet connection means that multiplayer will be out of the question for me. So singleplayer mode is all I have...

1) What version of Lock On is FC out of the box? v1.1? 2) Is the saved game error fixed in FC? I.e. can I load saved games properly? Thnx guys

I'm an Su-27 lover :D! So yea that's what I fly 90% of the time. Thanks for that guide you gave me Vekkinho! I tried it out but still got hit; probably because I was too close to the bandit (10 km) when he fired at me. But I did notice that the missile was losing speed really fast so with a few last second maneuvers it could easily be evaded. BTW what is NEZ?

I've been practicing my missile evading skills for the past few days with varied success. My main problem is that I don't know any moves except the one I made up, which can only be used when the missile is coming head on :( So what I'm looking for are tracks of good missile evading skills being used, or dogfights, that have been recorded on LOMAC 1.02. I'd really appreciate any help since I'm getting more and more desperate as the days roll by :P
