What keys are the narrow/wide keys ?

Quick question, On missions there are times that I simply cannot find bullseye on the map. Is it there? Is there a way to make it stand out ? Thanks to all who answer...

Last couple of days I have tried to find a server to play on, but under multiplayer, there is nothing populating ! I don’t get to play a lot so I’m sure I’m missing something, any help ?

The f15 radar scans left to right on four different quadrants. When I switch to TWS mode, it limits the scan to two quadrants, no problem here. However, when I switch it back to STT, it keeps tracking only two quadrants. In other words; When I turn in the radar I the carrot at the bottom scans all four squares, but once I switch to TWS I am limited to scanning two squares regardless if I turn it off/on or switch from SST it TWS mode. How do I get back to scanning all four squares? Thanks to all who reply.

I’m really loving this sim, but after an exhaustive search I still can’t find the answer to the following 3 questions. Sorry if I repeat myself but it’s driving me nuts... 1. F15 in the NTTR, big green dot right in the middle of the hud. How do I get rid of it ?? 2. F10 map, radio channels and frequencies right over the name of the base. I’ve tried every button in f10 a hundred times. How do I get rid of the radio labels? 3. I’ve seen on YouTube a viewback where you can analyze your tactics. It’s basically an exterior view that lets you study what you did, how do I get to this ? Btw, not sure it matters but I’m using VR. Thanks a lot to all who answer.

It must be a VR thing, because it doesn’t work. There is a button that takes the labels off the aircraft but not the frequencies / channels from the bases....

Happy turkey day to all, Question, on the f10 map, radio channel / frequency labels appear right over the name of the air base, so I can’t even read the name of the base. How do I turn them off ? I am using VR, not sure that makes a difference. But it’s driving me nuts !!!

Got frustrated and quit, now I’m back and determined ! Quick question, in the f10 map, I get what appears to be frequency / Chanel numbers for the airfield that is over the name of the airfield. So, I can’t read the name of the base. How do I get rid of the this ? , btw I’m using VR, don’t know if that makes a difference..... thanks

I was playing for a while then got completely overwhelmed and stopped. Well I'm back and doing a lot better. However I got two questions for anyone who cares to help. Radar, when I switch from STT to TWS and switch back to STT, the width of the scan stays In the smaller TWS range. It only goes back to regular scan mode (one side to the other) after I turn it off/on and mess with it. Tactics, when doing a 1vs1 BVR against a mig 31, they seem to lock me up and fire before I can. Other than going as fast as possible at them to get a missile lock, what tactics do you employ against this plane and a mig 29S ?? Thanks.

Hello all, when I fly and I save the film, can this be uploaded to Yourtube ? I tried today and got a "You uploaded an archive file, not a video file" message. So, I guess I have to convert it somehow. but I am a TOTAL idiot when it comes to this. Can anyone give me some directions with extreme detail ? Thanks.

Is there a self destruct button in the refueling valve of the A10a? Do I need to disable it? Cause everything I try to refuel, it triggers an explosion. :megalol:

Mmmmm, interesting. I did not buy FC3, I bought the a10a and f15c, and it is almost impossible to land take off without pushing in a disable NS button.

No, I mean when not taxi-Ing and ready to take off. You disable the nose steering, right... Is it an on/off button or key you hit once or you you need to keep it pressed ??

To disengage nose steering, take off n landing, do you need to keep the button or key pressed or is it a turn on/off ? Thanks

I can midair refuel with the F15, no problem at all. Today I started with the a10a, and since I can't see the lights, boom is in the way AND the position of the plane is further back, I can't seem to figure out how to place myself properly. Any advice? Yes I did a search on this ! Thanks to all who respond.

Sorry for the stupidity, I've logged on to the NTTR multiplayer servers and either there are no weapons loaded on the f15, there is no one else there, or its locked and I can't fly. How does one find and team up with other players ???

That is on fast missions, where is it on mission editor ?

In NTTR, mission editor, if I wanna fly a night op, I set the mission clock (by the waypoints) to either 2000 or 2200. Problem is the flight always starts ay 1200, so I would have to wait 8-10 hours. How do you set the time for mission start not just for the flights? Thanks...

Done it, still can't tell what I'm shooting at,other than they are bad guy vehicles
