Mi had the same issues, make sure you have a bit of a dead spot on the joystick settings and a gradual curve. Help me a lot...

Starting to get the hang of this What is the command to switch from the 120 amram to the aim 9 ? I’m having to click the display since I simple cannot find the command. There are about 8 “dogfight missile override” commands, how do u pick one (or just which one should I pick) All contacts on radar look white, no difference between Allie and enemy, what gives ? Well, after five years of just flying FC3, I’ve decided to try and learn a full sim. My first base in the Air Force was Kelly AFB and we had a squadron of F16s there so I have always loved the viper. I am by no means a computer / sim expert so thanks to those that lend a hand and exercise patience. For those that do not, you might wanna skip my posts for a while, and thanks anyway. I have a thrustmaster stick and throttle, my first questions are Does target cursor have to be tied to the mouse on the throttle ? It’s hard to get it to where you want it to be. Is there any way to tie it to a four way switch ?? Gun mode on the viper has the damn wavy lines that you have to but on the bandits wings, is there any chance it will get the circle sight like on the F15 ? Thanks

Trying real hard to learn the viper ! As my first full mod it seems overwhelming. I set up my hotas as described on the DCS site Problem is, I go A2A but I can’t move the cursor to lock up the targets . What is the. Or ton selection for moving it ?

So, it turns out I’ve been running DCS beta. Which is what I don’t want since in VR I’ve had issues. So I deleted Everything I could find that said DCS in the hopes I could just reinstall DCS world. After I attempted to download it, I got a nag screen that said it could not reinstall since it was already installed, so I opted to run “DCS updater “ hoping to just have DCS world. This is what I have now Under c: user/USER/saved games/ I have DCS and a second folder DCS openbeta. I the DCS folder in config there is no “input” or planes listed In DCS.openbeta there is an “input” with my mods listed When I open the DCS icon it’s version 2.5.5.41371 None of my modules are listed as playable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Any chance you can give me more specific instructions on how to download and install the TM hotas profile currently on DCS downloads, the instructions are either incomplete or confusing. Yes, I have voice attack, is there a way to use voice attack to activate switches in the cockpit that do not have keyboard inputs ??

After years of flying FC3 planes, I’m on board for the F16. I tried in vain to download the thrustmaster warthog stick n throttle profile in DCS/downloads but since I am by no means computer literate I simply could not get it to take. Can any provide SPECIFIC steps on how to import a profile? Also, is there a way to link cockpit clickable switches to voice command ? Thanks

Trying to figure out how to import a profile for my TM warthog Hotas, I realized I have three folder for DCS DCS DCS openalpha DCS openbeta Can I delete the first two ?? Also, every time I start the game it asks me if I want to update to the SAME version, then tells me I’m up to date, what gives ??

Hello all, I’ve played this game for several years but only the FC3 aircraft. Tonight I tried the viper and LOVED IT. So, I’m hoping I can trouble you with some simple questions. 1. For game play (not just complexity). What is the difference between sim and easy ? 2. Flying “instant action” how do I get to to fly on easy instead of sim? 3. I couldn't find commands for the landing gear, radar, or even nav lights, can these be tied to a hotas or are they only cockpit clickable ? Thanks to all who reply, I do appreciate it.

I am running DCS beta in VR, and after having trouble with slow frame rates and game crashing, I’m wondering if the non beta would be better ? Also, if downloaded would it simple replace the beta or do I need to uninstall/install ? Thanks to all who reply

Can anyone PLEASE fix the look back (Lshift +f4). On the mustang and f16 and others I’m sure. In VR the thing looks forward instead of back! If you have a dedicated cockpit like I do, there is no way to check your 6, thanks

What do you mean “going stable”, is there a way to make this playable ?.

Let me just say that I love this sim. However it is getting very frustrating. Prior to this update it was locking up quite a bit. So,I’m was very happy there was an update tonight. This is the worst it’s ever been. It is completely unplayable, as there is no fluid motion just a series of choppy screens. I hope this gets better soon...

Hello all. I recently downloaded and played “an eye for an eye” campaign for the f15, it was AWESOME. I’m trying to find similar missions or even a campaign for the A10a, but I can’t find any. Not even for sale from eagle dynamics. Any advice ?

If you play a fast mission in VR Go to editor and want to research threats (or whatever) the spinning model of the tank, anti air, etc is displayed BEHIND the encyclopedia screes so you can’t see it. What gives ???

I run a computer with only DCS, no other programs except for explorer and stuff like that. My HD os 30GB, and I have an oculus rift s, FC3, nevada test range, and the Caucasus. Today I bought the middle eastern map, and it says there is insufficient space, WTF ! I’m TOTALLY NOT A COMPUTER GUY, but does that seem right ?

I’ve been playing DCS for quite a while now, but I have two problems. First of all I don’t have a lot of time, so maybe 2 hours a week. Secondly, I’m pretty bad with computers. Up to know I’ve only played the F15 and the a10A, which are simplified cockpits. However I LOVE the F16. When I was AF active duty we supported a squadron and I thought they were just awesome. Is the DCS F16 a good full model to start with ???
