I see that the Middle East map,is free for April 9-10, but how do you access it? The link goes nowhere and the icons on the bottom of the home page only lead to buying it !.

After this last update, I can’t position my viewing. As I move my head around the entire cockpit moves with me. Anyone else having this problem. ?

Pls excuse this question from a non computer type, I am using the latest version of DCS, 2.5.6 I believe and I need to go back to 2.5.5., since the new one sucks with my VR. What is the best way of doing this ? Do I need to delete my current version ? And then remap every key again or can it simple write over it ? Pls be specific, and thank you for your help

Not sure what WMR is, but I just DLed the game and the oculus software and started playing. I am running 2.5.6. Sorry, I should have been more descriptive, At low altitude the ground “freezes” for a second so it’s anything but smooth same thing with fly by (f3) and enemy fighters ina fight. If there are multiple airplanes and they launch missiles, it just gets super choppy.

I got the oculus rift s, with a 1070 video card and a good computer.. But all settings have to be set to low or off and even then it runs poorly, what gives ?? I have the VR hook up to the video card and I also have a TV plugged in (in place of a monitor) Can anybody shed some light ??

Just upgraded to the Rift S and installed the free version of voice attack (pending registration) Both are awesome and while the Rift S is well worth the money, voice attack for only $10: solves the problem of not seeing your keyboard completely! Problem is, it seems I need to unplug/replug the rift ever time I wanna play. It gets stuck in a software reboot loop that goes nowhere. Also, for some reason the mic just stops working on Voice attack and I have to stop and turn it back on. Anybody else having these issues ? Any solutions ?? Thanks

It seems I will be buying a rift S, after I screwed up my VR. My computer is about 4 years old, so I’m thinking about upgrading it to really get the most out of rift S. I only use the computer for DCS, so I don’t care\ need about any other program. What computer hardware would be optimal for use ??

Quick question, I just moved my home cockpit and I seem to have lost all the mapping to my thrust master joystick and throttle switches Could this be because I probably reconnected them to different USB ports ? How can I get my settings back ? Pls be detailed, in horrible with software and settings...

What can I say, I’m an idiot. Today I totally rearranged my game room to add some more fun stuff. While moving my cockpit around I dropped my oculus rift, but i thought it was no big deal. Boy was I wrong. Looking thru the left eye,mit seems like it’s full of rust and spots. Needless to say I think it’s a goner. So, I’m thinking about going to the oculus rift S. My only concern is that my oculus had a space by the nose where I could glance down on my keyboard. After demoing the rift S, it seems like a really tight fit with no way to alter it. Guys with the rift S, how do u access your keyboard ?? Thanks

I think everyone is missing the freaking point, EVERY PLANE IN DCS HAS A LOOK BACK BUTTON, THE P51 LOOK BACK BUTTON, DOESNT LOOK BACK. NEEDS FIXING, PERIOD.....

Let me tell you what I’m talking about. The seat I have makes it very difficult, as well as health issues I have to just “twist around. As far as the wingman issue and the “that’s the way it was done” posts, this is a game. I just wanna play it and enjoy it. My point is, if I can check 6 in the F15 and the A10a, why is the p51 excluded from this view, while all others are provided. Heck even arcade view is accessible ! But looking behind you, no way. This is infuriating and makes no sense...

First of let me just say that I freaking LOVE this sim. I fly in VR, and the inability to look behind you in the P51 is simply maddening. I literally can’t check six because the look back key looks forward on the left side of nose. A simple fix would make this sim plane AMAZING but as soon as you loose sight of the bandit it’s done. I hope they fix this simple task one day and I can return to the mustang....

I got to figure out how to manipulate a lau file to look back ? What the hell this is a basic view/function of flight swimming !?!?

Just started on the P51, Using an oculus but back problems prevents me from seeing behind me. So, I use a view button, f4 I believe, on other aircraft but it doesn’t work on the mustang. All I get is a view forward on the left side under the wing. What button is for a view back ???
