If nothing works check that you are not playing in game mode. Cause the F18 does only work in sim mode.

Will this be fixed? I think the problem is only when I use Caucasus map. I have tryed it multiple times and happening every time. Does anyone else have this problem?

Have the same problem. Was beginning to think it was only me.

I could do this before, but after the last patches the cross not shows up before it is too late. Also the bombs impacts about 1000 to 200m after it should.

I dont even get up the cross for impact point before it is far too late when using manual bombing With CCIP. Never had a problem with this before. (sorry for my bad English)

Lately I have discovered that the boms does not hit the target anymore using CCIP. They hit long after the target even if I dropp them when the cross is right on the target.

Agree. there could at least be a standard feedback note like "this is reported and will be looked in to" or something.

I wish the sound level (using F2 view) could be about the same as other modules. It is so loud compare with the others now.

The game still crash goes back to desktop in Caucasus using ME right after I have given the command "engage target of oppertunety". In the moment they will answer, the game quit without any maessage (warning). Has been like this sins about three updates ago.

If you dont want the helicopters, then I would go for the Harrier. I have all the maps but I only use the Caucasus and Nevada map. I only play SP and make my missions myself. I have all the modules include the helicopters , but I almost only use the Harrier, F18 and the M2000c. Because the F18 does not support "game mode", then I dont use the helicopters because I find them too hard to use in sim mode. The F18 is my favorite airplane nr. 1 right now.

After the last 2.5.3.21016 Open Beta update, the game crash for nothing using mission editor!

So the conclution is that this planes can't take off at cold weather from a carrier...in 2018.

Why is the game crash back to desktop every time I have sent a command to my AI wingmans???

I have been flying F18 lately in missioneditor. But a lot of times after trying to send commands to the AI wingmans the game crash back to desktop without any error messages. I had the same problem in a Mi8 campain. As soon as I gave a command the game freezed in the first mission and I had to give up. I have tryed repair a lot of times without any result. dcs.rar

If I land, stop the engine for repair, change wepand etc, and take of again after using easy start (Win+Home), the plane tilt to the left and the gear warning (or whatever it is) does not og away.

After last update the plane will not take of from the catapult. Here we go again… :( Before the update the plane lunshed by it self after some seconds using full throttle. EDIT: It Works in summer but not in Winter anymore. Is it supposed to be like that?

I prefered flying the Mi-8 in "easy flight mode" and I could have a good time for hours with it...picking up soldiers on the montains...cargo...etc... After I bought the F-18 I have selected to fly in "Sim mode" because there is no way to fly it in easy flight mode. That is not a problem for me. The F-18 is easy to fly and use. But I find it too hard to land and controll the Mi-8. Of cause I can change the options in the game for each time I change from plane to helicopter but with an endless lodingtime after restart, I simply dont have the spirit to do it. In other Words, if I play with my friend that only want/can play in easy flight mode, I can use the Mi-8, but then I have to forget about using the F-18. Some options that work fine with certain planes/helicopter dont work with others.

If you play in game mode or easy flight, it will not work. I dont know why they dont fix it after all this time. It Works fine in sim mode and it is easy to use, but for me I sometimes like to fly certain helicopters/planes in easy mode (game mode). So it is very bad to be forced to change option and restart the game all time.

I have also tryed differents settings in the "spesial options" without any changes. What is the best settings here (see Picture) I use a Saitek X52 Pro

I did try to delete the controller profile and after I tryed to fly with default input (no button or axis change) and still having problem. Guess it must be me then… But thanks for the help anyway :thumbup:

I just dont know what to check in the config LOL :) I Only know I had no problem before the the releese of the Persian Gulf and the updates around that. I will try to delete the config and make a new one and see if it helps...
