Crash here too but this time it generated a autolog. Not fun to fly a loooong time and just before the action is supphosed to begin, then the game crash. Less and less use of the game :(

Was supphosed to be "Significantly reduced F-14 RAM usage" but I dont feel that way.

Great plane but hard to learn when the game freeze all time and have to waste hours of loading for to be lucky to play some minutes :(

I have given up using Persian Gulf map. All other maps runs ok...

I would love to have the big, ugly and *piiiip* BEAUTIFUL F 8 Crusader :)

Same here. If I hit F2 sometimes the it just get back to desktop without any error message. But that is when I play in mission editor. Have not tryed other yet. dcs.rar

What about musikk? Do you need music to?

Thanks. :) It worked fine. I got the message to abort some times, but I did that on my mission too. I dont know if it is a bug in the game or something.

I did not get it to work with the predator...

I did try this and it Works fine, but I had to place the JTAC much more near to the target to make it work. Even with clear sight between them...It does not feel realistic then. I will add the mission here. All ground targets MP3.miz

I think you need to use the software for the Saitec. I have the same stick, but I dont use the software. I dont use the mode button. Instead I use combinations like for exsample "CTRL + powhat Down, up .left, right" etc... I wish it was more support ingame options for the stick though...

I also had a gtx 960 before and changed to a gtx 1060. It made a great differens. But I also only have 16 gb ram. It Works great when it is not so much going around in the mission, but with heavy missions it can feese up to 15 seconds suddently and then continue. Very irritation when the plane crash in the meantime. I Guess more ram would help some but also depending on the CPU. Mine is a i7 3770 so it is not the best... I think the nr.1 important is to have as few programs as posible running in the background. At least it is for me.

I think you need to make sure the two big volume buttons between the screens is turned up. Happened to me too :)

Make sure you are not playing in "game mode" (easy mode) F18 only work if the game is set to "sim mode". They have only done a "half job" at controller option in game mode and then "forgot" about the rest. I dont know why and have asked a lot of times but no feedback... I also use a X-52 Pro and it work perfect in "sim mode". But I dont use the software for the stick

Every time I want to host and play mp with my friend we need to do at least everything three times before it will be possible to play. First I need to wait the "normal" long waiting time for a selected mission to load. Then (and every time), I need to do it all over again because it does not load the mission I select before the second time I try to load it. Then after waiting another enternety I got the correct mission I first selected :doh: THEN when my friend try to join, it is imposible for him to select plane and we need to begin all over again. So after wasted many hours we are finally good to go...if we are lucky :doh:

Would be nice if we could get a manual as soon as it is ready before the releese of the plane...just so we could prephare us a little bit before :joystick: :)

Looking forward to (if they have any plans for it) they make it possible to fly this plane in game (easy mode). NOT because I have any problem using it in "sim mode" but because if I fly with my friend online, he can only (for personal reasons) fly the planes he have in "game mode" but then my F18 will not work if I join him.

Do you play in "Game mode"? Because it only work in "Sim mode" and they does not seem to care about fixing it witch is bad. Not because the F18 need to be in game mode, it is very easy to use in "Sim mode", but if you want to fly certain modules in "game mode", the F18 will not work.

The suggestions helped a little bit but still I find it too diffecult and stressful to continue use the helicopter.
