  1. @Ciribob Are you going to reset the HQ section in the buddyspike forum to allow people again to choose their coalition?
  2. Oh c'mon it's impossible: dcs has been written so that u can't achieve more than 40 fps in such a complicated server:megalol::)
  3. If GCI is online I usually hop in a GCi slot only to ask magic which aircraft I have to choose, but this method can work only for people with CombinedArms. You can also do the same but with a normal slot, but it would be better if there is a written plan or a briefing before the restart only to organize people.
  4. The strange thing about this engine is that if u look down, without having the horizon line rendered, u can achieve more than 60fps, but when u begin to render the objects in front of u, fps drops, like if you are processing everything on the ground, even if it's not visible or really far away.
  5. Btw in the BlueFlag I get only 35-40fps when on the ground even if I have good specs... I think that it's not that difficult to coordinate: we only need to reset the "HQ operation" sections in the buddyspike forum, where we can plan tactics to follow that day
  6. Reporting @1548Z server lag and client crash :(
  7. Like everytime, I'm gonna guess... of course no crash no log:megalol::cry::cry:
  8. Reporting @2150Z massive server lag. Details: I was doing GCI for blue side. Server started lagging, then my map view freezed, except for 3x M4 soldier that began moving from ambrolauri FARP in 3 different direction like CRAZY (below the ground at -14000 feet and 750knots:lol::lol::thumbup:). They were the only thing moving on the screen :). Now (@2157Z) I am trying to join again the server after I disconnected because my Map was still freezing even the server ended lagging, and I wasn't also able to change GCI slot. Now I can't enter server (waiting after I hit the join button in the loading page) Like every time, server isn't crashed:mad::cry:
  9. No NTTR:( Have fun boyz!!
  10. Yes, I know that. I first joined this server when round 8 was running, and I wasn't capable of speaking with proper terminology in the radio, but I didn't give up: I installed the radio, the first few times I was only in "receive mode" doing things passively. Now, after not so much time, I am doing mostly the GCI for blues, taking decision and coordinating the team... u can't go so far if u never take a choice like mine. I think that what u've said about the gadget page ecc... is true, but u can't live only of supposition in an official round. That thing, can be good only between the rounds, then it's gonna become difficult, especially for a GCI that has to coordinate things.
  11. I think that in the official rounds the kick should be enabled. I have also seen people playing on the server for more than a week and still not joining SRS, and when I was doing GCI and asking them if they were in comms, they kept answering:" No sorry".
  12. Usually there aren't other freq, but if you want to communicate in other "unofficial" freq with a friend of yours or with someone who is cooperating with you for example, you are free to connect to another comm , but it's recommended to leave every time one channel in the official one (especially when you are approaching to an airfield or taking off from it, or if you have GCI online). Sometimes can happen that the GCI itself organizes the situation by putting, for example, different types of aircrafts in different comms, when it's too difficult to have everyone in a single channel, only to improve radio sterility.:D
  13. You've said a lot of beatiful things, but I think the problem here is different: how can u be sure that nobody takes advantage of the chat in the engagements at long distances, maybe shooting a FOX2 when is 10 miles out from the bandit, and then waiting for the splash report in the chat to leave the valleys to resume his flight??:noexpression: What you've said would be acceptable if the chat had a built-in delay, and also don't forget that you have a magic that can give you callsigns if you want, you can ask in the chat to the enemies to see who splashed you.:D I think that in a 2 weeks online campaign server, everybody has to cooperate, no matter the name, the kill ratio ecc..., u wanna win for your side, you establish a relationship with ur buddies, you act like a real squad to pursue a goal. I think that's the spirit everybody has to have when joining BlueFlag:pilotfly::thumbup:
  14. Question time:D:D @xcom / @ciribob Is the problem with the INS mis-alignment on the mirages a bug or a feature? (considering that it takes almost ten mikes for the alignment) Is the kill report in the chat a normal feature of the server or it will be removed in the officials rounds? (I've already posted this question but I received no answers. Check the spoiler for the integral version of the answer)
  15. +1 and don't forget about the harrier:)
  16. Looks cool. I wanna do a premise: I am not a big fan of the f4 and the f14, and I am also not well informed about their capabilities. :noexpression::doh: With that being said, I think it's impossible to compare a Mirage to an f4, cause, from my point of view, they're two different kind of aircrafts, of two different generations, with different capabilities. I also can't find a good 3rd gen dogfighter aircraft with a good turn ratio in the blue roster, since the mirage is on the red side.
  17. Ciribob do you think that the crashes were related to the aircraft? Edit: is the the disabled auto INS alignment on the mirage a feature or a bug?
  18. Maybe the crash is related to the 25T:huh:
  19. Btw for the red side the mirages can come from UAE or the chinese air force, instead of the Peruvian AF that looks so unrealistic:thumbup: Maybe also from the IAF Can't wait for the Italian navy's skin for the harrier
  20. And is this feature going to stay forever (even in the official rounds) or it's a temporary solution? I am asking because I think it doesn't fit well in a realistic scenario such BF is trying to represent, because somebody can take advantage of the chat to recognize that, for example, his bandit got killed by his missile even before he checks visually for the splash. I wanna give you an example: today I was flying on blue side with a buddy, we got an helicopter on the radar, so we engaged him. My buddy splashed that bandit with guns without even realising that he got it. We kept searching the target for other 5 mins, then, because of the chat report, we realised that he got splashed. I know that in this case the chat helped us, but it's simply not realistic. Last example (I promise:music_whistling::lol:): I had a dogfight against a su27 ( I was on an f15). I got engaged by him and I replied with a fox2. Then I went into a defensive position trying to avoid his missile, and, because of that I lost visual with him (he was covered by my left wing). The chat feature wasn't enabled yet so I had to turn back to check the splash or the miss. With the chat feature enabled you simply don't have to check if someone got splashed or not, if a buddy doesn't call u on radio because he went down into a fireball or simply because he didn't hear you. It's like having the superpower of omniscience, that u can't have in real life :) P.S: at the end, yes I splashed that 27:pilotfly::joystick:
  21. Is it normal that now the server shows the kills in the chat?
  22. Same here!:megalol: BTW today around @1905Z server crashed. Before the crash there was a massive lag/desync, then an FPS drop , then an FPS freeze and then the SUPERCRASH itself :music_whistling:
