  1. Just flew on your server Panzertard. ServMan seemed to work flawlessly. Great work for getting it working!
  2. For searching there's basically three things you need to do. Scan left and right, scan up and down (to maximum ranges sometimes, especially if you think the bandit is close) and change PRF (pulse repetition frequency). The latter is your sensitivity to bandits flying towards you (high PRF) or away from you (medium PRF). ILV PRF is interleaved where it switches between high and low. TWS does not have benefits like the F-15C does where you can launch a missile without giving the target the launch warning, but TWS is certainly handy to get aspect information of multiple bandits at the same time, without the need to lock each one of them up. Also don't forget to do occasional scans with EOS. If you detect him early enough, use the range advantage of your R-27ER's. Launch from high, then descend and crank to minimize closure and increase ground clutter for the F-15. Try to keep him at a distance. There is no fool proof way of winning this battle, but there are many foolish ways of losing it. Besides that, use teamwork! Check out the 51st PVO Regiment. We fly the Su-27 almost solely and use superior teamwork to win our battles.
  3. Oh my god! I knew wings were flexible, but this flexible?? :shocking:
  4. There's two places the chat windows is referenced: config/network.cfg scipts/net/default.cfg I've tried both of them but none of them seemed to work. However, I have the impression the latter file is the config file for the server, so it may be that the chat height is only set by the server and forced upon its clients.
  5. With the release of FC2.0, I was wondering what has changed? It is already apparent that on_start() and on_stop() have changed to on_net_start() and on_net_stop(). What else has changed?
  6. I had to change the viewangles in both snapviews.lua and snapviewsdefault.lua to make this work.
  7. Works for me! thanks for the solution!
  8. It seems his present is ready to be downloaded! Happy birthday Torwak!
  9. Glad to hear that!
  10. Thank for implementing this ability!
  11. What? No poll? Congrats!
  12. Unfortunately this stats page is for FC1.12 only. Writing one for DCS:BS would be a completely different project. However, with FC2.0 on the horizon this will be developed in the future.
  13. Your wish is my command :D I just uploaded the Aces, Lone Wolves and Help pages.
  14. Let me iterate again: Digital Combat Simulator: Flaming Cliffs
  15. Congrats Vex!
  16. DCS:FC Cause that is what it really is...
  17. Time to bump this thread, as some discussions have started and it is time for other squadrons to chime in. http://www.modern-air-combat.de/CRT/index.php
  18. Congrats!
  19. Kuky, this would be a small LUA script that would only run on the server and would have nothing to do with the clients. It sort of is like what Mugatu created for the 3Sqn stats back in the day. For the HL replacement all it would need to do is send the list of pilots and their coalitions and aircraft to some centralized server.
  20. This would be an excellent start to a hyperlobby replacement. I'd be more than interested!
  21. I do :) I sent you a pm.
  22. Anyone who is interested in contributing to the common stats board, let me know. I can provide you with a dump of the MySQL database and the PHP scripts for the A2A, A2G, Overall and Squadron pages so you can play with it.
  23. Good news! From now on the logs from the 104th is also automatically uploaded to the stats! Thanks to the 104th for arranging this!
  24. Data from the 3Sqn, 4c and 51st servers is know automatically loaded into the database every 15 minutes. The 104th still manually uploaded at a rate of about once per day.
