  1. It's realistic! :smartass::thumbup:
  2. VR flying requires ACTUAL positional and situational awareness flying technique. This is why it is laughable watching guys that use Track-Ir with the "insta-180 rear view" controlling the aircraft while going back and forth from left to right rearward views in 1/100th of a second (ahem,. Growling Sidewinder :-P ) and other guys using Track-IR. Track IR WAS a stop-gap means to add some level of immersion to the simulation experience but it is COMPLETE ARCADE / GAME MODE when compared to having the need to actually move your body in the cockpit to maintain visual ID on a target that is not directly in your front quarter view. On a related note and with understanding that not everyone has access to VR due to computer limitations / budget etc, the online community should clearly address the simulation differences between those with VR versus Track-IR setups. I would go as far as to say that there should be VR only Servers for simulation using VR hardware; AND Track-IR / Hat-switch viewing only servers for ARCADE types using Track-IR / Hat-switch viewing. This is not an "Elitist" viewpoint, this is simply a factual "simulation" versus "arcade / game-mode" issue when it comes to visual tracking fidelity when compared to the real-world and the closest way to recreate the experience in the simulator.
  3. Please DO explain what you have encountered with your XTAL in detail here for all of us to understand. Thanks!
  4. Mine is shipping OCT due to issues with the previous supply chain which has been corrected and not the fault of VRgineers. Looking forward to it and the future with XTAL.
  5. we can implement it to work if it isn't supported naturally.
  6. Once I receive my XTAL, I'll be looking to implement this.
  7. I have put in my order (and paid fully for the Force Feel Wings Edition) on MARCH 16th, 2019. I am still waiting for my product to arrive......
  8. I believe what he is saying is that the SERVER would set the ability to BLOCK the Autostart Keybind that you have in your setup from actually doing anything while Logged into the server session. This doesn't mean that any editing of your keybinds on your local computer would be performed.
  9. GTX 1080 SLI to ASUS DUAL RTX 2080 TI OC VR Testing I've just upgraded to the ASUS DUAL RTX 2080 TI OC and the results are EXCELLENT. Was previously using (GTX 1080 Founders Edition (x2) SLI) etc.. System Setup with the following hardware. - i7 6850K, - 32 Gigs of DDR4 2600 - PCI 16x Ram Drive 512Gigs - Win10 64 etc. I have the VIVE, VIVE PRO, and OCULUS RIFT. I'm in the middle of testing but so far it seems as if I'm getting near 45+% improvements in overall performance with NO Overclocking of any hardware. I Will send some more info after I get a grasp on what works the best on both SteamVR with Motion Smoothing and then with OCULUS and it's ASW etc. But so far, VERY good results in the VIVE PRO. :thumbup:
  10. +1 PLEASE read this... PLEASE for the love of God get rid of this activation per module system as it is now. I Completely agree with having an "account" of sorts that allows you to login and simply use your purchased modules. My damn Windows 10 system has given me MULTIPLE errors of "System Thread Handler xxxxx" problems and have ALWAYS resulted in me needing to completely REFORMAT and REINSTALL my Windows 10.. This obviously requires me to re-download ALL the modules + Nevada... MOST Importantly I NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO DEACTIVATE the modules because windows is UN-Bootable and therefore EACH TIME I re-install windows, re-download the modules and RE-Install the modules it requires me to RE-Activate which DECREASES my remaining activations... Please fix this / Change this silly system. :smartass::noexpression:
