  1. Does Leap Motion work with the Reverb? How about X Plane 11?
  2. Philski you have that great i9-9900K at 3.6 GHz try turning it up. I have my 8700K at 5.2 ghz and have everything just about maxed out and rarely drop below 45 fps.
  3. I'm really interested in this maybe for Christmas. Question does it really work with DCS and how about X Plane 11. How would you mount if on a Reverb with the cloth front?
  4. I have to agree. I have the Innatek PCIe card and had intermittent issues with the Reverb added the StarTech.com 4 Port USB 3.0 PCIe and I have not have a issue since I added it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HJZEA2S/ref=cm_sw_r_em_apa_i_WpeQDbWE5KZ82
  5. I don't know if this ts the correct waw to start DCS. My Reverb is always connected to my PC when I start the PC WMR automatically starts if I'm not going to use the Reverb I just minimize WMR. If I'm going to use the head set I just move around it to get it started then I start Steam then click on library, Software select WMR and run it. When every thing is running I click on DCS, X Plane 11 or anything else put the headset on and away I go.
  6. Thanks for the advice Harlikwin. I tried twisting the cable and nothing changes I have not had the static back since I installed the StarTech.com PCIe card but like I said it did not happen all the time. I'll keep a eye on it and if it does happen again I'll contact HP.
  7. I was having a little issue with my Reverb every once in the while after leaving DCS and trying to restart the sim the Reverb would show something like static in both lenses. The best way to get it to stop was to just reset the PC. I was powering the headset with a Inateck 7 port PCIe card with 2 other devices plug in to it. I found out that card has only 1 usb controller for all 7 usb slots. I purchased a StarTech.com 4 Port PCIe card with 4 usb controllers the card is a little pricey but I have not had a problem since. Figured I'd just pass the info on.
  8. I have a 8700k and a 1080ti and have all the settings set pretty Hi and have no problems. I'm staying with the 1080ti until the next series of cards come out then I'll decide weather to up grade.
  9. Happen to me recenter the headset in WMR setup. Fixed it for me.
  10. Thanks for the reply ran setup again and everything is good now. Thanks again
  11. I just started DCS first time in about a week and now the cockpit moves with my head. If I move my head to the left or right side or forward and backwards the hole cockpit moves with my head movement. Never had this happen before. Anybody ever run into this? :(
  12. Do Not use the Inatek PCI-e Card Drivers. My Reverb would not work with there drivers. I contacted Inatek and they told me to completely remove there drivers from my PC then restart the PC and let Windows load the Windows drivers. After I completed doing that everything worked great.
  13. My box L56549-001 wwyy REV A, 925 M# VR1000.2. From Shopblt and so far no problems, almost 3 weeks now hope it stays that way.
  14. Did you remove the lens protectors? Mine is 925 Model # VR1000.2
  15. What is the model number of the newest Reverbs? Mine is VR1000.2
  16. Thanks so it's not just me it may have been Steam both updated about the same time. Is there any way to reduce the amount of haze I have every thing pretty much set to high?
  17. I added the latest update last night and noticed my FPS dropped about 8 FPS also notice a lot more haze in all the maps. Anybody else notice this? I did a repair and deleted the files. My Reverb VR1000.2 Week 925
  18. My first venture into VR with the Reverb Most setting on High MASS 2 SSAA on 2 rarely drop below 45 so I'm Happy.
  19. I'm new to VR got my Reverb last week and I'm running a 1080Ti I have every thing set to HI except traffic and shadows to flat mass to 2 and SSAA to 2 everything on the right all-way to the right except Smoke which is about halfway. Been thinking of a 2080Ti. I,m getting between 48 and 50 FPS in the F-18 using the Persian Gulf Map free flight and flying at 250 feet and at 350 thru downtown Dubai. Can some one who has a 2080Ti tell me what kind of FPS the get flying the same flight. I know no 2 PC's are exactly the same just trying to see if the 2080Ti is worth it or wait to see what comes next.
  20. I use 1.75 reading glasses and I Do Not need them with the Reverb but Do need them when using my monitor.
  21. I've been flying with 3 2560X1440 monitors and just got my first VR headset about 2 weeks ago which is the HP Reverb Pro. After the first week of use I don't think I'll ever go back to the triple monitors for DCS or X Plane. My frame rate with the Reverb is very similar to the 7680X1440 I was running with the 3 monitors and Track IR but it's so much more realistic and is very similar to a 1080P 2D monitor and I don't need my reading glasses while flying. Just my 2 cents.
  22. I have the Reverb USB connected to my motherboard also and have no issues.
  23. The model number inside the headset is VR1000. I saw the model number VR1000.2 the I first time installed WMR. Yes it had the Clip shipped with it. As I said my Reverb has been flawless so far. I hope everyone has the same experience. I'm going to due a reformat of C: drive and a new installation of Windows 10 next week and I'll try to see where the model number shows up. I due this about once a year has nothing to due the Reverb or DCS.
  24. I've had my Reverb form Shopblt for about 2 weeks this is my first VR headset. When I first installed I remember seeing a model number of VR1000.2 so I’m thinking it’s the new model and I have not had one problem with it no heat, flickering or blacking out. My biggest problem was figuring out how to use WMR. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to triple monitors. With my system with everything set pretty much to High I’m getting 48 to 50 FPS flying about 250 feet thru Dubai with the F-18, MASS at 2 and SSAA at 2 and all I can say is WOW. As of now I’m a happy camper.
  25. That worked updated to 431.60. Thanks
