I have the AB9 up and running and I will not be going back to a standard stick anytime soon this blows the Warthog and the Winwing out of the water.

I ordered the MongoosT-50 Flightstick Base and paid for it on the Thanksgiving sale and is on back order, and couple of weeks later I decided to go with Moza AB9 FFB Base. I sent a email to Virpil to canceled my order and I told them why they canceled my order and issued a refund right away, great and friendly service. I now have the Constellation ALPHA Prime Grip on order for the AB9. The ALPHA Prime is on back order and they are very up front with the estimated shipping delay. I can wait for a great product as I have my TM Warthog grip to use for now.

James744 I picked up this mount for my AB9 and my Warthog throttle should have it by Monday. My son in law picked up my AB9 this week form Miro Center he lives 3 miles from one I live over 200 . So I will non get to try it out for a week

Got it fixed uninstalled F-16C then went to DCS CoreMods/ Aircraft and deleted the F-16C restarted PC and reinstalled the F-16 now it works.

I don't know what happened but my noise wheel steering is backwards. When I'm going slow the steering does does not work the faster I go the better it works. It's so bad I can not even get off the runway after landing. I shut down and restarted DCS, turned off the PC and uninstalled the F-16C and reinstalled the F-16C. The only thing changed is I added a Winwing base and F-16 Grip non_shaker.

Does anybody else think we need a new Input Device heading like maybe Force Feedback or Moza AB9 and Winwing FFB we have them foe Virpil, VKB ect. I do not know the requirements to do this just a though.

I'll have to adjust the height and tweak the position of the base I may need a extension but will not know until after I get it mounted. I hope it comes with screws for the bottom if not that will be some more shopping. As for the grip my kids ordered me a Virpil Constellation ALPHA Prime so I'll be using my TM Warthog until it gets here. I'm hoping to have it next week, I just hope it's everything the reviews clam at my age this could be my last setup so might go for the best.

I'm planing on mounting the AB9 to a stand I built for my TM setup which is 4 inch PVC bolted to 3/4 inch plywood with the stick bolted to the top and it sits between my legs. I can change the height by changing the length of the 4 inch center PVC this setup is super strong.

Well we may have screw up but my family ordered me the MOZA AB9 FFB because they knew I was looking at it. The latest reviews seem pretty good but firmware needs some work but that is common with most new products. I'll be using my TM Warthog stick for now. Nice Christmas gift.

I also would like to know whats inferior with Virpil compared Winwing. So far all my research puts Virpil on par with VBK especially the MongoosT-50CM3 Base. If you could kindly point out the differences because I can save a lot of money going Winwing. One difference is Winwing has a 1 year warranty and Virpil has 2 and Virpil has a warehouse in Florida so parts should be quick to get if needed. I have time to cancel my order as it will not be here for about 4 weeks I also have the Constellation ALPHA Prime [R] on order I hope that's not a bad item also. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my Thrust master HOATS joysticks base for about a year now so I started shopping. I came across the Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Base but it"s quite pricey but my A-10 stick will work on it. Then found the Winwing Viper Ace EX on Amazon for less money and seems quit good.. I have been bouncing between the two for a few weeks and then Virpil reduced the price of the CM3 base for their Black Friday sale and it"s cheaper then the Winwing so I purchased the Virpil. Hope I made the right choice.

I really don't have any issues with my Crystal for me its a big step up from my g2. I'm hoping the release the 42mm lenses I heard about.

I have the crystal and it was sold as a wireless or cable headset but it seems now if I want to make it work properly I need to spend an additional $200.00 WTF. I'm more than a little Pissed.

From what I'm seeing the Somnium VR1 is going to be over 2k and most likely will need a 4090 - 5090 to run it the 12K will most likely need the same.

Just my luck the return window on my Crystal ended last week. I wonder if they are going to keep the Crystal as a middle headset or drop it. I'm thinking the 12K is going to be over 2K.

Memory is a matched set I would never mix memory. If I go to 64gb it would be on a new mother board with DDR5. I'm thinking this might be a cheap way to get some more FPS in DCS and X-Plane.

I currently have 32gb DDR4 3200 CL18 a friend wants to sell me his 32gb DDR4 4000 CL15 for about a $100 as he is building a new rig with DDR5. I fly in DCS in VR with setting maxed out using my system below 13700K, RTX 4090 and Pimax Crystal getting about 90 FPS. Can anybody tell me if I would notice any difference in frame rate and would it be worth putting in more money in this pc. Thanks

After installing the 4090 I noticed my WIFI signal was doping from 5 bars to 2 it was driving me nuts I replace the motherboard antennas with a wired one about 2 feet from the PC now I have constant 5 bars. I first noticed when playing MSFS figured I'd pass this on.

Well I kind of changed everything I had the 13600K which worked really good but last week I found a 13700k for $50 more so I returned the 13600K also found a Gigabyte 4090 OC for list price so I went for it. I only had the 13700k in for one day biggest difference I notice is it's faster and cooler then the 13600k when the 13600 is over clocked. I can run DCS using my G2 headset at 100% with maxed out settings and get 60 + FPS also noticed less shimmering on the ground when doing a barrel roll everything seems a little smother or it's just me. Wondering if DCS has a 60 FPS limit for VR but so far things are good now on to X-Plane 12 and MSFS.

Being I only do VR I decided to cancel the 7900XTX and keep the MSI 4080 Trio on order if I can find a 4090 I'll cancel the 4080. Might as well go for broke wife's not happy. Again thanks for the help

I Just put in a order for a MSI - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GAMING X TRIO from Best buy or would the 4080 Fe be just as good. $109 price difference for the MSI

I got myself in a weird position I promised my grandson my 3080 FTW video card when I can get a 7900XTX or a 4090. I found an XFX Merc310 7900XTX 24gb for list price and ordered it which is the same price as the Nivida reference 4080 card now It seems 7900’s are not living up to expectations. I don’t know what to get the XFS Merc310 7900XTX 24gb or grab a 4080 which are pretty available now I refuse to pay $2000.00 plus for a 4090. I play 95% simulations in VR like DCS, X-Plane 11 & 12, MFSFS 2020, F1-22 and some others. One thing that I like on the 7900’s is the 2.1 display port I think the next generation of VR headsets will most likely be going with it. Any advice or help will be appreciated
