Thats not RWR though, thats radar screen. RWR (Radar warning Receiver) is circular in shape and is in top right side of front panel. It shows you direction of radar emissions and its threat level to your plane EDIT: Learn to read Tau.... (ignore this post)

So what exactly does it tell you? ur position in relation to the selected bullseye wp? It doesnt match the HSI on that... Does any other VTB parameter works? If yes how that works?

Actually there is Trim reset button, little black one right under G-limter switch. Unfortunatly u cannot map it on controler or keyboard. But if u start from cold, you are supposed to test your FBW after engine start, to make DECOL go away (according to start-up procedure)

I believe there is a difference between hard lock and actual 530 launch. I think TWS gave no sound alarm just RWR direction, STT gives long tone and RWR direction, 530 launch gives screaming alarm and RWR direction. Of course unless u approach through enemy RWR blindspot, then he got no idea whatsoever unless spotted visually :P

But isnt it set that when both switches are armed, Guns are selected? So You keep missiles armed all the time and then just use gun switch on/off to switch between weapons

Well when i fire 530 I like keep target location in HUD search mode so if radar loses lock, HUD search (hopefully) will reacquire again

Gimp actually, file to change is in DCS World\Mods\aircraft\M-2000C\Textures\M-2000C-CPT called pilot_M2000C_patch.dds i recommend to backup default one as well (u should really back up everything u change in files):P

HUD Scan in current DCS Mirage is expanded boresight. In theory it locks on any target in whole square of HUD. So its not a flood like in f15/aim7 EDIT: oh was answered before... Should have read all pages...

you can also change its model, adding for example custom badges and stuff.

TACAN ranging works in m2k to m2k and even m2k to a10. What u need to do is to set freq 63 channels apart. For example lead puts tacan to Y01 and wingman to Y64. TACAN must be in A/A mode. Dont forget to change ur HSI (compas on front panel) to TAC parameter. TACAN only gives u range between planes, ignore bearings on HSI, they are fixed in place.

Or u can tick "INS Always aligned" in special tab in options. Its going to save u 10 min every spawn
