  1. cichlidfan, You have to try my low'n'slow textures before making posts like that... they were made for low altitude flight and there is no fps hit, the textures are 10mb and the stock ones are 5mb, no problem... At the end of the day it's down to what you like best, there is no right or wrong. People like Rockwelder and me enjoy making these mods so you can all enjoy them... Just try them all and see, they won't break anything..

  3. Nothings changed, my mod still has the same great graphics :) DCS World changed the whole airport and runway texture system and some of the new airport textures look really good but my textures still complement and enhance them really well.

  5. I'm using a G940 and I'm having such a hard time to fly level like I used to. The slightest touch on the stick sends the helicopter into a 10-20 degree dive. It wasn't like this before. I tried using Sim FFB with DCS FFB off but Sim FFB lost control after a few minutes. It works for about 30 sconds then stops.
  6. My nose drops more than that and it leads to loss of control.
  7. All well and good Falcon but unrealistic. Let's see what they do but I hope at least for an option to be able to edit it to look realistic. No windows are 100% clear.
  8. I'm seeing this too. I can only fly with FFB off in 1.2.6
  9. Flying from pilot seat, turn head left with TrackIR but look at area where co-pilot's feet should be. Do you see that box of light that appears (clipping error?) If you see it too, could you please fix it. Thank you.
  10. When I'm flying the Mi8, it feels like there's no glass in the frames. I've looked and there doesn't appear to be a texture for the windows. Belsimtek, could you please add one in the next patch? I'll happily make one with dirty edges and reflections if you provide a template. Thanks.
  11. I was able to regain control and complete the mission by switching FFB off. Something has changed with the FFB.. I have also tried Sim FFB but that's not working like it used to with 1.2.5 either.
  12. Is anyone out there smart enough to figure out how to add true world head movement when using TrackIR? Example You're looking forwards and however you move your head, it works as expected ie up, down, turn left, turn right etc Now turn your head left and look out of the left window. What should happen now if you move your head forwards? Right, your head should move forwards towards the window. But it doesn't, it moves sideways towards what it thinks is forwards, ie the front glass window. I would be so grateful if someone could figure out how to tell DCS World/ TrackIR my true head position and direction.
  13. Since updating to 1.2.6 I keep having the feeling that I'm fighting the controls in the Ka-50. I have: 1. Nose drop - nose won't trim to horizon, it keeps dropping 10' down after trimming. 2. Crazy shkval problem (out of control scrolling) 3. Auto start not working properly - It just forgot to activate the Shkval, weapons systems, countermeasures and Nav switch for example 4. Cockpit Label Night Lighting - There's a dial to adjust it but it only affects the brightness of the PVI-800, bug or feature? The back right panel lighting and dial work as expected. I'm trying to complete the Vergeev Campaign but I've put it on hold until these 'bugs' get fixed. Such a shame, 1.2.5 was the best release so far for the Ka-50. Is this me or are other ppl having issues with 1.2.6 and the Ka-50 too?

  15. Ka50 comes in both colours for production, not just for the game. Black and in Blue.

  20. Don't like it... sorry guys. Too much forest area and I never liked how the map textures add colours on top of the flat forest textures and make the textures unclear plus real life is full of fields. I've messed around trying to remove this blurry colour layer after some help from HungaroJet but it has some really weird side effects, like the whole ground textures going almost black if you alt+tab out of the game. I'm still thinking about a good solution for this problem. Has to work at low and high altitude and the repeat should not be noticeable.

  24. Looks great and don't worry, I'm not offended, you're not the first person to do this. I'll try them out later and get back to you. What is weird is that you needed to change the colours. On my calibrated screen, the colours matched the default towns and villages 1:1. The same for the low'n'slow textures. Happy hunting.
