On the 19th April, F-2 flight training was officially resumed. Photos: Inbound from Misawa Airbase. Repeatation of Toutch & Go. Turning to the seaside while pulling vapor. On ground. Crew members and airbase staff are welcoming the squadron. "See you next time!" Matsushima JASDF Airbase, Japan.

After a bit more than one year, two F-2 fighter jets have returned to Matsushima Airbase. But they will only stay for a certain time. All squadrons from Matsushima are still based on Misawa Airbase. It will take maybe one more year, for all squadrons and the JASDF Blue Impulse to return to Matsushima. Images from the local news channel:

This year tour patch of the JASDF Blue Impulse sure is a beauty. Those rings are from the Maneuever Sakura (Cherry Blossoms). The Japanese word in red means "Bond".
