I'm sure both of those statements are true; however, I've put the aircraft into situations that definitely should have caused VRS, but it didn't happen. I actually had to increase the decent rate to more than 800 fpm, sometimes over 1000 fpm didn't do the trick. It's just not accurate all the time, sometimes it's almost on the numbers, but not quite, other times it's way out beyond plausible. Sumpum's just not right about the model. :detective: Surely there must a configuration setting somewhere that can be edited from Note Pad that will set the model to a realistic level. :idea:

I'm not sure if this is something I didn't notice that much before or if it's started due to the last update; when landing in the Huey I notice sometimes my Vertical airspeed getting above 500 fpm while my Airspeed is getting below 30 knts(as low as 15 knts) and I'm at more than 20% power. At times I'm sure I should be getting into Settling With Power, but I don't. I'm wondering if this is a bug that's came with the latest update, also wonder if there's a setting in a config file somewhere that I can tweak to make the physics more realistic? :unsure:

I noticed I have folders that contain all the aircraft(probably AI aircraft), and maps like Normandy, and Persian Gulf, but I only have a few aircraft and the Caucasus map installed. ED said they had another Free map the Marianas Islands, that's what I thought the notification was going to be when I saw it, but it seems that one's gone MIA.

Thank you randomTOTEN that uninstalled the modules from my modules list. Amazing how users with a low number of posts give the better advice than users with thousands of posts.

No I didn't. I clicked "Cancel" and went back to making my video, when it got laggy I noticed the modules were intalling any way, then I came here trying to find out how to get rid of them. I guess you assume way too much, and say things without thinking that maybe there actually is something buggy about the installer. You probably think that's my fault to.:chair:

I didn't ask ED to install these, I don't want them, so I have a right to complain about it. I went into module manager and clicked the slider, but they're still installed, just disabled in the manager. They are interfering with my shortcuts. They're interfering with my ability to make videos as a result. I was in the middle of making a video when the notice popped up, that was 2 hours ago and still haven't been able to make the video, it was only going to be a 2 minute video, that was the plan, this is what happened. How do I permanently uninstall them so they're not on my system anymore? And how do I opt out of having future unwanted modules installed?

DCS just installed F15-C and SU-27. I didn't ask for them, and I don't want them. This new install is messing up my keyboard short cuts, and making it difficult for me to record in DCS; how do I uninstall the modules and put DCS back to the way it was before they installed?

I don't want them! I didn't ask for them, and I don't want them now. So what's the deal? Is ED going to try and charge me for something I didn't ask for??? This a really bad marketing strategy. On top of not wanting these modules, when they installed it messed up my keyboard shortcuts, so now every time I hit my space bar ShadowPlay starts recording, and when I hit Alt + Enter to put DCS into fullscreen mode my Task Manager pops up. Up until now I've liked DCS, but this is a deal breaker.

I hope I'm not going to have to do the same thing with ED. :mad: If I wanted F15-C and SU-27 I would have bought them by now. I don't want them. Now I have to sort out how to get my keyboard short cuts working right again. I'll probably end up having to reinstall windows and everything else. :mad:

So I can fly them this weekend and then they quit working or do I get charged for them, or what? I don't get the News Letter, BTW.

I got the notification and now I have the F-15C and the SU-27 in my Installed Modules. So, if I'm reading this correctly I can play these modules this weekend, then they quit working?

I just got a notification inside DCS that says "now you can install modules F-15C and SU-27" Is this something ED is giving us now?

Whenever I make a video, in DCS Huey UH-1H, using ShadowPlay the video is saved as Blackshark instead of UH-1H. The only Mod I'm using is a shader mod to give me better frame rates. Is this because the Huey uses the same model as the Blackshark, or maybe a bug?

I'm wondering if there's a way to convert Saved Tracks to video, other than playing the track and capturing it with something like Shadowplay.

I'd like to see the Bell 47G modeled in great detail with a realistic flight model. Also the MD500 in it's various configurations.
