Looks to me like it will all come down to how much its used like anything else with a shelf life. The more its used the more it degrades overtime. So if you have em on for 25mins then you have still used 25mins and it does not go back to zero just because you put em off before the 30 min mark. But if you do turn them off before they over heat or what not then they will last that lil bit longer than if you had got to the point that they do overheat deteriorate. But a could be wrong

so you saying that full zoom gives u the same feel as it would in a real A10. If it is then ok i take back what a say. and that is in no way mean trying to be an ass asking u that. av never been in a plane like that looking for targets and just assumed it was that hard. If its not as hard as the sim makes it and the zoom does indeed make it go some way to look like it does in real then a will for sure use it Dont give the wife ideas about kicking me out the window, am sure she has thought about it many times when am sat playing this great game

Now your just being stupid. My intention was not to bash him it was just my view on this sim. Everyone is free to play this game/sim how they like. am just saying try it without Zoom and the game will feel better for you, same with if you play in game mode i will always say try full on sim mode and once you get used to it you will have much better game play. Oh and the the next step for me in this sim is to jump out my window with an umbrella if i ever have to eject again, just for the realism :megalol:

Do real A10 pilots have a zoom button.I think not. This game is what i call a proper sim so its not going to have a false zoom that you cant do with your own eyes

how about dynamic campaigns then add some maps. i am starting to get a lil bored doing the same missions everyday

This is a flight sim and your supposed to be a flight sim fan. Get with the times and learn to play sims the way they should be Sim= Simulation. Google that word and please let us know its meaning

why not save ed time and money and just tell them all about the sim with words. you tell an employee and he tells another. is called knock on effect. Or are ya just trying to get free posters for ya room

Ok so i was playing about with an online mission off line so i could get used to it and i decided i would change my load out in mission editor and seem to have messed up my fuel load. Skip the track until ya see me move and you will see what i missed that i have near to zero fuel. then skip to my first bomb drop and see me panic when i lose engines and everything and try get home. note the point i relies i have zero fuel lol Run out of fuel.trk

If ya play in game mode then your only getting 1% of the real game play from this sim. Jump into full sim and play the sitting duck mission to get used to it. Once ya do get used to it ya will never look back. Also in sim mode al your doing is fire press button fire press button and fire. waste of a great sim

Mission planner will show ya the route the tanks will take and ya just kill anything in that area

I use the profile from here called DCS that one of the game makers use I have it set for exclusive and centre my trakir before i start the game. With that done using trackir5 and pro clip i can see everything. Move my head down a wee bit and to the left lets me see the screen head on

It shows you the mig and blah blah blah then after a min it will then put you onto your plane Just have patience

yup wait a few mins and it will then goto your plane.Its part of the script

the X52 does a great job with this sim, plenty of buttons for everything you will use the most. But as said,trackir is a must and only £140 for trackir5 with pro clip

I had a x52 already but the wean kind of stood on it and killed it Will do for spares
