hey man, don't worry, I mean, I bought the Mirage from Razbam, that was like more than a year ago, get frustrated by the unacurate and incomplete module and uninstaled it, was my second module after the MiG-21, I just was starting in DCS world and didn't know how the things work in ED and 3rd devs. Anyways of course, I did spend money on it, and for this part of the world it is a ton of money for promices from people that has a very cuestionable comercial ideas. So I did spend my time flying other very good quality and almost complete modules even after his realese, mostly Belsimtek and Heatblure modules, then I read in somewhere (never in a oficial changelog from ED) that Razbam updated the FM and added more stuff after of a year, and I reinstaled the Mirage, and really enjoy a lot the plane, man, is one of my fav aircrafts. But well, Razbam product, still incomplete and more promices, etc. Of course the first an the last product that I can get from that place. I don't have the AV8, I don't like that plane but, you can ask to the owners when was the last time it recieve an update, and how complete it is... so, my recomendation, enjoy the plane at this current state, and do not buy anything else from they until you know the product it is almost complete, like, if I could want the AV8, maybe just need to wait until 2019, and so on... :V

At low speeds a delta wing requires a high angle of attack to maintain lift. A slender delta creates a characteristic vortex pattern over the upper surface which enhances lift. Some types with intermediate sweep have been given retractable "moustaches" or fixed leading-edge root extensions (LERX) to encourage vortex formation. As the angle of attack increases, the leading edge of the wing generates a vortex which energizes the flow on the upper surface of the wing, delaying flow separation, and giving the delta a very high stall angle. A normal wing built for high speed use typically has undesirable characteristics at low speeds, but in this regime the delta gradually changes over to a mode of lift based on the vortex it generates, a mode where it has smooth and stable flight characteristics. The vortex lift comes at the cost of increased drag, so more powerful engines are needed to maintain low speed or high angle-of-attack flight. The Mirage 2000C si also, an inherently unstable aerodinamic design in wich a human can fly it in help of the fly-by-wire, that's allow the aircraft has a particulary high maneuverability that in other old delta designs you can't achieve due the high control input and attention to the speed, AoA, power and such, that the pilot have to do, and also, the Mirage 2000 C can achieve a superb weight to power ratio with certain amount of fuel and ordinance.

When will give to this thing a correct damage model? how it's possible that you hit three times with missiles (not only lighter R-60s), direct hits in a hot aspect target, and the F-15 module for DCS still flying and fully systems operational, this is looking like an arcade now, and it's not an isolated situation, this repeats very often. Annoying, specially in a non full fidelity module that is already so powerful due to the weapon loadout, super easy radar managment and behavior...

That fix is not working, the old problem of the fps drop when another aircraft is close to a Mig, persist. My current build is 1.5.8.12823

I wonder when Razbam will announce officially the new changes in the flight model in the official changelog and put it in the stable version once for all? because, please correct me if I wrong guys, but it is only in the beta and no in the stable and alpha, isn't it?

Well, there is already a "Mig-28" in DCS, there is also an incoming Tomcat... could be a really good idea give us a nice A4-E Skyhawk, no one of 3rd party even name it, a plane in witch you can do air carrier operations, air refuel, old school ground pounding and of course, Top Gun with Viper kicking the Maverick's arse =P
