Bug or not, it is very annoying and not so realistic IMHO.

This is so true! We buy a new game at the end. There is no excuse this game to bring all that bugs from the past.

Some users expirience huge fps drops if the mission has clouds.Don't ask me why. Try A-10's first mission (it has clear weather). If you have acceptable fps there then try the solution from here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51536

Correct me if I am wrong but switching to an other mode freezes HSI too. It is very bad because if you are in BVR mode searching for targets you don't have any navigation aids. Even from HSI.

Hi and congrats for the great job! I wonder if there is a possibility now with FC2 to add new cockpits to the game and not just replace some existing ones like in FC1. That would be wonderfull and I am sure if there is such an option, the modding community will create miracles in near future :)

The pilot avatar is a ghost for anyone else except yourself, as soon as he touch the ground. I know it because yesterday both me and a friend ejected from our parked jets and try to take photos together in front of them. :) I shaw me but not him and vice versa.

Add a new condition and a new action at the triger system of FC2 and BS mission editors. The condition will check if an object (airfield, bridge etc) is damaged ( I know there is a condition already but its checks only dynamic objects like a/c, vechicles, ships etc) and the action will repair the damaged object after a preset time. For example I created a mission at which a vechicle group advance to a neutral airbase to capture it, following a road. At some point there is a bridge and if I destroy it the vechicle group stall there. But if I had the set of codition-action I describe above I could program the mission to check if the bridge is destroyed and if true to spawn an hypothetical enginier group which sould advance to the bridge area. A zone triger should check when that group arrived and should activate the action to repair the bridge. That way tactical strikes at road networks to desrupt the enemy moves should be more realistic as they just delay the enemy and dont stall their moves for ever. Same pair of condition-action should help destroyed airfields to repair themself after a preset time and don't just stay destroyed till the mission end. Also a new action that should give a specific amount of points to all members of a coalition at multiplayer games if they complete a specified goal or set of goals should be a nice addition.

AC seems not to play any role at base capture. Only ground forces do. In a mission I tested such a thing I have my base captured from enemy ground units as soon as they aproach at 1km even if my plane was landed there. They didn't kill my plane but the base was captured.

I noticed I have GUI flickering only if I have Firefox running in the background. Closing Firefox fixes the problem. Maybe that is your case too guys. Check it out.

More feedback. I have Black Shark too and I try it the other day with and without clouds. I have no problem at all there. I run both games at the same machine with same settings. Someone should expect BS has more trouble to run than FC2, couse it has more advanced flight models, avionics etc. But I dare to say, it plays more smooth than FC2. Ofcourse with the setting of graphics.cfg mentioned at the first page of the thread unchanged for FC2. With the setting changed FC2 runs as smooth as BS. An other strange thing is that at the same file (graphics.cfg) for the Black Shark the specific setting (CloudAspectThreshold) does't exist at all.

There are some of us who have problem with low fps when the mission has cloudy weather. Try a mission with an absolute clear weather (like the first A-10) and then try one with clouds. If you will see a big difference at your fps then try the solution from here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51536

Negative. The problem with clouds affects my nVidia GeForce 210 too.

Thanks a lot!! I will ckeck it. An other question. Mp tracks saved for clients too or only on host?
-
Is there any way to record tracks at MP sessions? Cause there isn't any button like the Single Player. It's a big missing feauture if there isn't such a possibility :(

Try this. Select the axis you want to fix. Click at the "Axis Tune" button at the right bottom. Move the Curvature slider to the left. The more to the left the more aggresive and responsive that axis will be.

I re-assign TR z-axis to zoom too. It's far better than the default assignement which it seems to works very poorly

I further tested with different weather scenarios and I saw that as clouds go more dense especially at full cover the problem appears again but not as bad as without the setting we try. Also, I tested a few different fog settings and as I can see, fog doesn't seem to affect perfomance at all. It will help if someone from ED team tell us what exactly the setting we change does and what is its value range. At least until they have a better look at the problem.

I solve the problem changing the entry CloudAspectThreshold from 0.03 to 1.0 in GameDir\Config\graphics.cfg I don't know what exactly that parameter does but clouds don't change my fps performance any more. I just mention it in case someone else has the same problem.

I tried the same mission with realy clear skies and with clouds. At the first case I had constantly 40-50 fps all the time even with high settings. With cloudy skies even scattered one, I had a huge fps drop. Sometimes they drop at 10-15 :( Are there any others with the same problem? Any solution? I have a dual core at 2.8GH 2 GB Ram and an nVidia GeFORCE 210 with 512MB

Thanks for the skin. Nice work

My first post here, so greetings to all. Here is my add to the wish list. A dynamic campaign like Falcon 4 with live world and realtime battles, functional either in singleplayer and multiplayer. The abillity to run dedicated servers with such dynamic campaigns in which players could log-on and off and help their sides to advance. The abillity in such online campaigns for the players to form flights and packages choosing their roles and targets and create flight plans in real time. It should rise online experiense in new heights :)
