Actually this was a good move for Wags. Steam as you know is a seperate company where you can download games or "SIMS for the elitist". Steam is a little different than the original, they add there files. So Wags putting out two same betas one for Steam he can test the multi compatibility. Plus it saves him bandwith on some of his product downloading from Steam. A lot of games are going this way. At least we have a choice where to buy the product. Of course if you bought the beta from DCS that is where you will go for patches. Steam patches should be for only Steam products. At least that is the way I think Steam works.
