I have the problem with no lights you mean the firmware will load without lights. Windows sees nothing on my throttle and no lights. I tried the boot load pushing down the two buttons and cannot get the utility from TM to see the throttle. Maybe I will try for the 15th time.

We really do not know the actual numbers of how many. I find it unusual for it to be the same problem. Not random different issues going wrong and going wrong so soon.

I just got a reply from TM after the first fixed did not work. I am to mail to Canada my throttle for repair or new unit.

So the issue here is, when you get your new stick, do you go ahead and roll the dice and plug it in and take a chance or wait for a firmware update that might solve this. Because you might be like me and some others that tried the first fixed and did not work. Now we might be sending it in for replacement.

I had mine hooked up to the USB on the back of Motherboard. The main USB ports and still went bad. Waiting for another fixed or ok to send back.

Yea I got the fix from TM and it did not work. So I had to send in the file from the reader utility. I am on hold.

Mine went dead too.

You wonder if BLT maybe screwed up on price and are hoping a lot of preorders will drop off. Hate to think that way. Maybe a few more days will tell.

The ones that got their stick is the beta recognizing the Hotas automatically in the sim?

MemphisBelle, Thanks for the hard work. I was in the process of doing this too. I see only one mistake. Step two should be the inverter to STBY. You have the APU Gen twice. Step 2 and step 14. Otherwise Kudos for a great Startup manual. Reputation point coming.

Well at first I thought it was a daunting tedious task to learn this, but what a fool I was. I took the tutorial and clipped jpgs from each step then wrote down the checklist. This help me greatly to memorise the process. Now I have it memorise and do it in 3 to 4 minutes. This is the greatest 4 minutes you can have. To hear the fuel pumps and APU fire up with the gauges and instruments light up then the engines fire up is so exciting. It is like foreplay in sex, you build up the excitement to the climax of being able to push forward the throttles and move. Wheeeeew now I need a smoke. Thanks Wags for the pure enjoyment. Now to learn more.

I am not running around like chicken little saying the sky is falling. But Dirextx 11 would have been a nice (feature) to the sim for the performance gains alone.
