  1. Hi Gents Anyone find a way to adjust, within 10 mile no tally is pretty frustrating. Thx
  2. I see it like this segregation in this community from a game play perspective won't work at least not now with the relative low numbers in the community, If we do and mind you its been done before you'll end up with more servers with fewer players in each server. Education via better briefs, maybe even as suggested a community standard for domestics might work. One idea 3Sqn has been thinking about is putting on training days for non tactical concepts open to all without the hosting group expecting anything in return other then the possibility of bettering the community by a small margin. Other established squads can do the same, good opportunity for new guys to feel out different groups and see what one they might like to be apart of. Getting to know each other on a level other then introduction from the end of an AMRAAM would be a good thing also.
  3. Server admins set the rules, you can help them out by following their instructions on how to deal with A holes who ruin the game for others. Then it's up to said admins to do something about it. But then again this would require people to read the brief :)
  4. I'll check mine tonight Kuky monster see if I can rep. your issue also on win764.
  5. I just noticed that Kuky has 3560 odd post on ED wow, that's huge dude lol Good flight IvanK was good to see the race track in action over Maykop. Let's get more people in there good fun and lot's going on... Everyone welcome.
  6. Hey Hawk would like a look also if you don't mind cheers.
  7. Glad to see this has worked out. My 2 cents on the BFM, ACM, WVR/BVR debate is yes they are both equally important should BFM come first on the training schedule... yes it should, it's an important building block towards becoming a well rounded fighter pilot. Skills gained during the BFM phase will be use over and over during further training. Additionally your ability to critique your own and others BFM performance can only be gained once you understand the concepts of applied BFM. As Moa said this comment is more for the new guys to take something away from this thread.
  8. If you have run the patch already for FC2 then do a game update in your trackIR software.
  9. Thx Guys well done.
  10. Supports just a few or many Human pilots so that's awesome to cover the busy and slow times with fun flying on both ends of the spectrum. 2nd what Kuky said you've done a heap of hours getting this going we all thank you.
  11. Seen same Crunch even when I was hosting a small gunzo mission.
  12. My main point of starting this thread was that the dispersal seems to great at short distances, these videos provided show good piper on target for the kill that we can easily reproduce in FC2.0 with the piper slightly off target. Therefore making kills in my opinion a little too easy especially in those oblique high G manoeuvres. Unfortunately not many military pilots can answer this as they'd need either combat guns experience or have shot down a drone with the gun during training, so the rest of us can only speculate. Ether has already answered my question so this thread is done unless someone with real world exp. can advise us more.
  13. AS explained it better then I did, so I hope others read and understand what we are talking about a little more.
  14. Agree with you there Ether. If you read any dogfight gun or BFM manual it tells you to gun be in lead, be in range, and be in plane. With the gun as deadly as it is now you don't bother with the last rule "be in plane" as you just go for nose position and cut the circle ASAP and kill (too easily). so IMOP it changes the fundamentals of BFM gunzo. Granted everyone will have their own opinion, we'll let you know how the test works out.
  15. Thanks for the suggestion EtherealN. I can't really comment on realism as I've not had the view of gun ballistics in the real world but for me - gameplay - as there's nothing better then making it to a merge and then BFMing the fight and acutally having a chance to survive if you gun jink in the defensive. Now in FC2.0 there's not much chance of that.
  16. Is there anything that can be done in a future patch to give the server host the ability to dumb down the gun? Though fun as hell to use it's way to deadly, 95% of oblique shots kill now and that makes BFM no fun in FC2.0
  17. Can we add this to the Int. check?
  18. I had one target flying away from me at 9mile could see him fine had the same type AC flying away from me in the same direction at 4-5 mile could not see him at all (could lock both in eos to chk distance). though I don't want to see extreme visual distances of FC1 I do think FC2.0 needs some work in this area.
  19. Not commenting on who's right or wrong here AS so I'm not talking about the figures. But I have to say this, I'm pretty sure I speak for a lot of us not only 3Sqn when I say check your attitude at the door. Your consistent "talking down" to other Lomac members is appalling. It must be lonely at the top
  20. rgr 15dps, will have to check with Dubb on exact speed as it's hard to judge from his chart.
  21. Answer from your question above Yoda: 50% fuel, 1000ft, 8 missiles I'm not the expert here just putting these questions out there, as suggested we'll run more tests to match AS's chart.
  22. "Flaps up" 600+ KIAS at 18.2 Deg per/sec is way off also, maybe we need to look at extra G settings to combat this kind of false BFM flying?
  23. As well as the eagles flaps up best sustained rate by Dubb's graph shows it's way too fast in FC2.
  24. Understand what you are saying Total and yeah I have to agree as well as the fact of the two extra MFD's being in a static position vs ingame's dynamic position given your pilots head movment. would allow a pilot with LEAVU to have better SA while maintaining greater flxibility of head movement. Target Step is my biggest concern, though I like the idea of the new random failure features. It clearly gives a pilot with Target Step about a 3 seconds advantage for weapon release vs a pilot without (in regards to both coming out of a notch to face up).
  25. Hopefully this is what the commanders round table can discuss and agree on. A community standard (and agreed updates to said standard) will be essential if we are to gain a trouble free online experience for all pilots.
