Rudel_chw I am not sure but this version of 1.74 does not seem to have an exe file. Not sure what to do with this download after I unzipped it.

I would like to have some colored smoke close to a target for maverick practice as I have a hard time seeing the targets. Unfortunately, I am a novice with the ME so I would appreciate if someone would provide me with a simple step by step method to do so. Thanks

To install, do you just drop the entire folder in the mission folder in saved games or do you do something else with all the files and folders?

After a maverick is locked and launched, do you have to keep the plane continuing to the target or can you make a turn and go back to the IP while the mav continues on to the target?

Drippy On the second attempt, I got all 4 targets on the X. However, I do have a question. I fired all 4 missiles about 2 seconds apart. How come I did not have to wait for the first target to be destroyed on code 1688 before I could lock up the other code 1688 target? The same for code 1670. I wonder if the JTAC automatically shifted targets after the first one was destroyed. PS I never located the surprise bogey.

So if you only have one JTAC with one laser, the answer would be no.

"you can fire multiple lmavs at a single target" Perhaps I was not clear. I want to fire multiple mavs at multiple targets in one pass like we can do in other jets.

I am trying to figure out how to fire multiple LMAV's in a single pass. I had assumed that when the LMAV locked on to a target that was lased by a JTAC, that you could turn your jet away but still keep the lock. Such does not appear to be the case. When I turn the jet the lock is lost. So is it possible to fire at multiple targets in one pass with the LMAVs????

On a flight today, I set the stores page for the MK 82 as program 1 for CCIP and Program 2 for Auto so I could go back and forth. I use Auto for helping to locate targets as we do not have ground radar. So today, I was in program 2 and when I tried to go to program 1, the stores page froze up and nothing would work on it. I could change pages on this DDI, but not the stores page info. Has this happened to anyone else?

Alerax Single player. I don't know what I did wrong, but when I try to get the carrier freq, nothing happens and the comms menu freezes. This only happens with your mod. Any thoughts?

LeCuvier Your axis addition works perfectly on my WH throttle. I used the same zoom axis as you did, but I added the joystick lever as a modifier so unmodified, the axis zooms and modified, the axis controls the HMD. Neat. PS: I tried your key commands, but while I can see the commands listed in the instrument panel, after assigning keys to them, I could NOT enter a joystick button.

User error. A mod was the cause. You would think I would have checked that already after all these years. I guess idiots never learn.

Kayos Yes. Otherwise the HMD page would not be in the MFD.

I loaded several Aim 9x missiles and did a quick mission. In game I armed, set to AA, loaded the 9xs and turned the HMD dial cw all the way. However, no HMD appears when I move my head. I have tried it with and without tracker but nothing appears. I went into the HMD page and made sure that normal included the standard items that appear in the HMD. My graphic setting are generally set to medium. What am I doing wrong? Also, I noticed no key or axis commands are listed for the HMD and that two that I tried from other posts did not work for me. Not a good DCS day. However, I did get the mavericks to work nicely.
