  1. Thanks very much, I spend a lot a time getting the PCBs and soldering to look top notch, so I’m glad it is appreciated  If it help anyone I am currently up to shipping #2073, shipping around 20 units per week so you should be able to calculate yours from there.
  2. Thank you very much for the kind words :) I have just done a quick test with my throttle and I get the exactly the same issue with the TGP in the A10. But like you it is fine on the HUD and in any controller tests, so it must be something to do with the game rather than the hardware. Is there anyone with more A10 experience who knows if this is a bug or something intended?
  3. Very sorry to hear that, I have sent you an email with some tests we do to see what has happened. It is unlikely the damage to the cable has caused any permanent damage to the throttle, so hopefully we will be able to get it resolved and working again for you soon.
  4. I’ve got a few ideas in the pipeline, the separate USB add-on is definitely still on the list. Currently I’m working on trying to get as many orders for the slew upgrades out as possible. It wouldn’t feel right releasing more products for sale now, when I still have a 3 month waiting list. Thanks very much to the guy who posted on hoggit, I got quote a few orders from there  I never understand why people complain about the price, no one is forcing them to buy it. In my view I’m making fair amount of money from them, and I’m still selling as many as I can make. If the price would change it would probably be go up, not down :)
  5. There are 100 in each monthly batch. I’m currently up to #1739 and shipping around 25 per week. Hopefully not too long to wait now :)
  6. I believe the update tool is installed alongside the official drivers - which can be downloaded from the Thrustmaster website: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/hotaswarthogflightstick-en/ If that doesn’t work for you let me know and I should be able to send the update program directly.
  7. Sorry to hear you’re having an issue with the calibration. There are a few things that can cause this issue. The first thing to check is that the installation and calibration have been done properly. The official procedure is as follows, step one can be ignored if it has already been done: 1: With the old sensor installed makes sure the throttle firmware is on the latest version (23), update only in needed. 2: Install the new sensor into the throttle 3: Clear any existing Windows calibration I the game controller menu 4:Calibrate with the Thrustmaster calibration tool – make sure you are using the latest version for the Thumbstick from my website, the force sensor version is different and will cause issues. If it is still not working then there are two main possible issues. One is that the sensor could be defective and have too much play in the centre, causing it to not properly return. This is unlikely as I do individually test ever sensor for this issue, and any defective sensor are not used. The second and more likely issue is that when the sensor has been fitted it has become slightly off centre. Each and every circuit board and plastic part is slight different, just due to manufacturing tolerances. Sometime this tolerance stack can cause the relaxed position of the stick to not fall exactly inside the centre of the maximum travel. In other words the sensor will move further in one direction that the other. If this is excessive then it will cause issues with the calibration and the slight amount of centre wiggle that every stick has will not be accounted for by the deadzone of the throttle leading to the issue you describe The best way to fix this issue is to reassemble the parts slight differently. One thing to try is to remove the sensor hat part and rotate it 180 degrees. This can also be tried with the front plate, or the alternative front plate from the one you are currently using. This will hopefully realign everything get it back working properly. It’s very important to recalibrate the throttle after every change, to check if it has made a difference. Hopefully that will be of use to someone :) Feel free to send me a PM or an email if you still can’t get it working.
  8. I would recommend re-running the calibration tool a few times - and if that does not work possibly running Windows calibration and see if that makes a difference. It seems to have worked in a few cases. Does it always return to slightly off centre? Or is there some small deadzone or "wiggle" at the centre of travel? If you still can’t get it working properly, if you can send me a PM or an email I’ll be able to help you out a bit more.
  9. For new orders sadly yes. I have a very large number of orders to get through - I will do my best to ship everything as soon as possible so it could be more like late May but I can't promise anything.
  10. Yes all orders are shipped from the UK so (for now at least) any orders within Europe won’t have to pay anything. I think the 42.99 price comes under the threshold in most other countries too, I have not heard of anyone needing to pay anything to the US or Australia, although you could always get unlucky.
  11. Good idea, done  https://deltasimelectronics.com/products/thumbstick-slew-sensor-adapter
  12. Thanks Wags! Much appreciated
  13. It includes a couple that were sold through the website, but it’s almost all thumb sticks. There are only 32 force sensors out in the wild - so you’re in a very select bunch  All the orders placed on January 4th were shipped on February 28th - I’m currently up to orders placed on January 12th. If you send me a PM we will be able to work out exactly where your order is up to. You are correct that the calibration tool is only for the throttle, so it would not do anything for a separate USB device. Each unit is individually calibrated internally before shipping so it might not even need any Windows calibration :) I have the Arduino code to interface directly with my sensor, so if you want it let me know.
  14. If the Windows calibration gets it working how you want it then great! Just note it might do some weird stuff if you try to uses it on a different Windows PC without rerunning the calibration. As for the hat I have had them on and off some of my test parts probably 20 times without any major difference in the fit. The most recent parts now have a CNC machined hole for the sensor shaft so they are a very precise fit. A screw could be used but I would not recommend it as the sensor could very easily be damaged when screwing into the shaft. For anyone who is not sure I would recommend sticking with the square piece. I only include the circular piece in case anyone is more familiar from Xbox style controllers and prefers that shape. I think the circle is *technically* more realistic, as the force sensor in the real aircraft is a circle pattern not a square, although since we are using an analog stick not a force sensor I wouldn’t worry about it. The calibration software does not take it in account - so you will lose some range of motion by using the circular piece. Yup, keeps me busy :D (note that orders started at #1000, so I have "only" sold about 800 )
  15. Yes that shouldn’t be a problem.
  16. Sorry to hear you have been having some issues, I have sent you an email with some troubleshooting steps. Hopefully we will be able to get it up and running for you soon.
  17. Sorry to hear that, I have sent you a PM. We should be able to get it working again for you soon.
  18. It does sounds like some sort of possible deadzone issue, could you check that values of "Standard_DZ_SX" in the A10_calibration.txt file in the TM calibration tool folder? It should be set to 5, for testing can you try increasing it to 10 or possibly 20 and recalibrating to see if it makes the problem go away? If you have done a Windows calibration that may need to be cleared again in case it causes any other weirdness. If you are still having issues please send me a PM or email I'll do my best to help you out.
  19. If you have not already done so then try clearing any existing Windows calibration by going to: Set up USB game controller >> Throttle HOTAS Warthog >> Settings >> Reset to Default >> Apply >>OK That is usually the cause of issues like that. You may need to run the calibration tool again after you have cleared the Windows calibration tool. If it is still not working then you could also try running the Windows calibration tool - I would usually not recommend it but a few guys have said it worked for them.
  20. All emails are sent from damien@deltasimelectronics.com Let me know if you need me to re-send it :)
  21. If it’s working fine in windows/joytester then it must be some sort of DCS issue - but I don’t think I have seen that issue before. Is it just one aircraft it does it in, can you test it in another and check? The only thing I can think it that you might have two different controls bound to the slew X function, it might be worth a check that only the throttle slew axis is bound and you don't have any other controls bound to it accidentally.
  22. Thanks for that info  that sort of knowledge is super helpful to have onboard. I was planning to make it spring return to centre, thinking mostly for the Hornet, but it’s good to know that it’s not the only aircraft that works that way. My current though is to make the spring return removable - so if could be used with both absolute position or relative style radars. Currently planning to connect to the existing throttle friction slider - although that would mean it would no longer be functional. Adding an extra USB device it a little more tricky - although I could make that another project and connect both the slew sensor upgrade and an elevation axis to it - thereby getting some extra performance from the slew axis that the throttle currently doesn’t have...
  23. Thanks Matt! that's awesome :)
  24. My original idea was to have a knob mounted low down on the side rather than a lever, but the lever seemed easier to use my testing. It had not occurred to put the rotary at the top of the grip, I had no idea that was a thing but I really like the look of it. I’ll look into it.
  25. Thanks so much to everyone how has posted any feedback or comments, even if I don’t reply to them all I really appreciate it. The March batch sold out in spectacular fashion overnight after a post over on reddit (thanks for whoever that was ) The April batch is now available to pre-order https://deltasimelectronics.com/products/thumbstick-slew-sensor-adapter As normal April should be a worst case scenario date - hopefully orders placed now will be sent late March or early April. I am still on target for shipping 20 orders per week, and I'm more or less up to speed after the Christmas slowdown. I am current up to order #1452 so you should be able to work out an approximate shipping date for you order from there. I have been investing a lot of time and effort in improving the manufacturing process, and a few small working details over the last month or so. This should buy me some more time to get back to work on the radar elevation project. A super work in progress teaser pic here (usual disclaimers apply) Thanks to everyone again for their support, here's to a great 2019 :)
