Where I get a scripts from trening misions?
Airway replied to wendol's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Hello and welcome to the forum There is no way to print the text but yu can manually load the training track files (.trk) in the mission editor and find the text under the triggers. Maybe it's possible to copy and paste to an external editor from where oyu can print. Otherwise if you feel that the training lesson is to fast for you, you can always press the pause key to pause the training lesson. Regards, Airway Edit: Nullcharakter just showed you a better way. I also learned now that these .trk files are .zip files. -
On the stick there is the brake lever - it is animated. And on the right back in the cockpit you can see the hydraulic pressure of the brake system. The parking brake has not the same power like the pedal brake. Regards, Airway

Hmm, Watch your rotor and turbine rpm, that should prevent loosing the power for these systems. ;)

I don't think it's very funny

Yes there is. Under "Options" -> "Gameplay" you will find the option "Use these options for any mission" Tick this one and be sure that "Easy Flight" is disabled on the same page too. So you will always use the simulation commands setup.
-
Yes, me too - first times I went through those drop down menus, I didn't see the Axis commands, because I didn't expect it to be red/green instead of blak and white. :D
-
So it seems to be a pretty dangerous effect when you are low and fast, as combat helicopters normally are. I see that you have to reduce collective pitch and neutralize the cyclic to get out of this dangerous situation what is almost impossible when low and fast, or?
-
As the other words in the drop down menu are black text on white ground, the Axis command in in red letters on green background on the very top. Are you sure it is not there?

You can set up controls eacxh for Real and for Arcade mode in the ingame control settings. Can you check that you have setup both ?

Does the English version have an English Cockpit?
Airway replied to droz's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Finally it works now and that's what counts  -
Yes, then we talk about the same :) http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=596789#post596789 If the sound file is music or a recorded speech, doesn't matter. You just can't record the voice over in the game itself. You have to make your own mission and add these voice files, as an .ogg or .wav file, on a trigger zone. I just tried it out - it's great. You can do that in a mission and save the replay file - so you have a replay track if a mission is not enough.

HELP! Recentering Cockpit Camera View
Airway replied to ericinexile's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Before you reinstall - why not trying to set the keys back to default? -
90° ahead - I see. Thought of 180° Whatever gyroscopic precession means - but might be the same what I think of and had no word for it. :D

Товарищи ! This is a bit too complex for me :D The blades profile of the upper and lower rotor are turned 180° (meaning both rotor blades have their front profile leading into the flight direction of the helicopter) So the one rotor rbs is at 3 o'clock, the other one's at 9 o'clck, as AirTito said, but doesn't that mean that the deflection is exactly on the other side of the rbs?

Thanks! That's good news ! Will increase loading times, I see, but at all this is a good way to make tutorial missions or other interesting projects ! Can I also host the files manually for download on my webspace? If someone wants to fly offline at home this mission, you know. In my case I called the mission simply "Test Flug.miz" Do I only have to put this "Test Flug.miz" file on my webspace and the sound file will be included? Thanks for your reply !

Another post from me: I have a blast with this sim - still am amazed of new things to explore. Just made a user defined mission, added text to it, that will be shown when someone runs this mission, same like in the training missions. And I added a sound file to it that I have set up to run when the mission starts. And I also tried out the internal function to record the track as an Avi-file. Still have to test this function, but it's great to have it  I am amazed :joystick:

Well this is all absolutely unbelievable. I just made a little test mission, added text and an Alanis Morissette sound file. This is great and adds a lot of excitement, when making mission for other ones. But here I came up to the question: The mission I just made, with the music sound-file added, can I host the file for download and music will be included or does it just read the sound file on my computer? What do I have to zip for giving away my self made mission files with sound files in it?

If you mean this: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=603681&postcount=3 You can find it under "Options" -> "Controls" in the game. Regards, Airway
-
Well, first times I went through the control setting in the game, I didn't notice the green Axis Commands drop down menu in where you can setup you axes. And additional, you can set up your controls for the arcade and the real steering, depending on what you have choosen in the main Ggamne settings. If you think you might have messed it up, try to set everything to default, start over and try again. It will work - if your controls show up in Windows control panel and work, then they will work in Black Shark too. :)
