Yes, it's a fantastic book and an interesting view in the war! Hopefully it'll be modelled well then. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Should be, for IR missile acquisition it's actually very hard for an aircraft to get a lock on the nozzles as they're hidden by the wings if attacking from above IRL so hopefully it'll be modelled. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Hello all, A little part of me is extremely curious as to whether vapour would be modelled more completely in future updates. Obviously we have wingtip vortices but I was wondering how difficult and how plausible it’d be to model wing vapour clouds when pulling High-G turns.(see attachment) I look forward to peoples opinions and thoughts as it’d be pretty cool to have this modelled. Fusing laser codes etc are set by the ground crew and then checked by the crew on receipt of the aircraft before flight. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

It's all dependant on the amount of information available. A lot of aircraft that are in use to this day have a lot of classified information and so that specific info won't be available to complete and round out the simulation model. Hence why the Tonka and typhoon etc aren't being made because of classified info. Maybe later down the line. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Mass airflow increases as speed increases, the intake is designed to slow the air down to Mach 0.4-0.5. the engine cannot accept supersonic air but the intake spike creates Shockwaves to slow the air as it travels down the intake however the compressor still has to compress the air to gain maximum energy conversion. The engine is designed to Increase static pressure and decrease dynamic but I don't know the ins and outs of the mirage design. I know other aircraft in depth IRL but not this airframe. Yes you're right, fuel flow increases as you go faster as mass airflow through the engine increases. However the higher up you go the less dense the air. This means the engine finds it easier to rotate and so uses less fuel to rotate it as fast because overall the mass airflow has decreased as the air is less dense. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Prowler, I'm sure I speak on behalf of the majority of the community when I say that your communication by not just yourself but the rest of the team and the engagement that we've experienced on the development of this module has been fantastic. Obviously things must be kept under wraps as it's the way the world goes round but I personally am looking forward to the day that it's released and the reaction you've had to the community feedback has been excellent and I'm sure it'll be a solid aircraft. Wicked job!!

I'm just loving the fact that we get a FLIR image projected onto the HUD, low level flying without NVGs here we come! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

It is rather, we'll have to find out at some point though! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

They don't weigh to much actually and they pack a serious punch! Around 400-500kg for 3 missiles and launcher rack. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Ah if only it was a GR9 in development! Brimstone would be fantastic!! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Well that's reignited the flame of hope! All things are crossed! The hype from the PR alone has a lot of the community probably going to buy on release! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

No they won't wait that long, no updates on the Q3 release but we'll find out soon I'm sure. ED have been very quiet on the matter. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Maverick works so hopefully a bit more tuning and we'll be cooking on gas! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

It's mainly for the hassle, they won't remove them unless necessary as the performance penalty with them fitted is minimal and it simply creates more work for the engineers. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

There is always hope! Best thing to have in these situations!

Well they have another sale in that's ending on Monday. Do you mean the news letter that was emailed out Raven? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Waiting for the news letter for any announcements today... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I didn't know that, I normally plug in ground power and then when ready use the Rshift+end to close the throttle and thus shutting the engine down but putting it to zero without shutting anything else down. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
-
Ok that sounds about right, what I normally do if I intend to restart the engine is put throttle to idle and Rshift+end to close the throttle fully and then the engine will shut down and then do the pumps and LP. All it then needs is to reverse the process with the addition of hitting the starter before opening the HP cock (throttle to idle). Give it a whirl and let me know [emoji3] Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Did you close the HP cock to shut the engine down? RShift+end? Or did you close the LP cock on the right with the guarded switch? If you don't close the HP cock using the throttle the engine won't start at all. Hope it helps. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
