  1. Yes, it's condensation however you have the anti mist switches. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  2. A quick question for ED, First off great job on the rain effect, it's looking great. Will there be provision for adding canopy and windscreen mist? It'd be great to get the blowers working properly! Many thanks Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  3. I for one will be playing it online and offline but I remember reading somewhere that only about 5% of DCS users actually play online. The online players are nowhere near a true representation. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  4. Well the Eurofighter is sadly no longer on the table I believe Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  5. The YouTube version: Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  6. I'd like to see the Meteor introduced and the mosquito. The latter would be great to do 'pathfinder' missions over Normandy, it'd test skill for night flying and then drop flares on targets with others doing bombing. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  7. I've noticed on a lot of multiplayer servers when I select to refuel the aircraft (whether reducing or filling) tanks, suddenly the fuel level rapidly drops down to zero, and then the only way to fix this is to respawn and go from there (but don't change the fuel amount aside from adding tanks) Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  8. 1G should be level flight as stationary on the ground is the force of gravity (1G) so I don't know how it's programmed Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  9. Yes the laser should be a bright white light but bugged ATM so it's black I think. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  10. I think it's to do with resonance in the intake, the intake is designed so that whatever speed the aircraft is travelling at it slows the air to .4-.5 Mach to present it at an acceptable speed to the compressor, any faster than this and it would lead to a surge or stall. At certain speeds/engine RPM like in the Vulcan and other aircraft, as the engine's mass flow rate increases, the air is being forced down a narrower hole until it hit the divergent section at the speeds mentioned above. Imagine blowing over the top of a bottle, it has the same effect (a resonance). The ViVGs are all about engine start up and up to certain engine RPMs to allow the compressor to operate as close to the blade stall margin as possible without causing them to stall. As far as I'm aware it does not have any bearing on the howl from the intakes. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  11. Thrustmaster keep their cards close to their chest however there is 20% off their website till Feb 20th so perhaps something will come out after that sale. I believe the Hornet stick will be something that you can swap out for the hornet stick and keep the base. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  12. No there is not as the computer doesn't recognize and munitions left in there. IRL you wouldn't get rid of them but emergency jettison is the only way if you want to get rid of them if you don't want them Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. If you leave them selected then you empty then, open the selective jettison cover, flick the switch and pull the trigger, they should drop off, if not provided you don't have any other stores bar magic 2's then emergency jettison should boost them off. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. When flying low level in an aircraft, the street light poles flicker in and out occasionally, might be a rendering issue but I'm not sure. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. I believe it's either manually selectable or it's automatically deployed and towed behind the jet if the countermeasures computer deems it needed for the threat. And then can be cut by the pilot or the computer. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. I believe it's a towed decoy that mimics the radar signature of a Hornet and creates the illusion for the missile that the jet is further back than it actually is. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. Nav Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. They know it's a module in high demand but it's all due to the classification of the aircraft itself I believe. I'm sure it'll be made in due course as a dev company has bagged it. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. I'd imagine it's probably be a 30-40 gig update from 2.2 if you have NTTR and Normandy. Otherwise it'll be larger. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
