If I put a trigger on the map and set it to activate an AI interceptor it will trigger an intercept no matter how low/terrian masked I am. Can I make it so when the EWR spots me an interceptor is launched/spawned so I could transit the area under the radar or behind terrain and if I pop up by accident then I get zapped. I'd like to do it without scripts as I'm thick. Domestos

Hi guys! Yes I've checked all that, FLIR on, in night mode. I've been playing with SSAA but that has no effect.

HUD FLIR don't work in my Harrier. I tried the HOTAS control and the keyboard shortcut. It used to work and now it doesn't. I've done a cleanup and a repair but still no joy. I notice that clicking the SSS down twice rapidly doesn't work either to put the TGP into HTS mode. I'm confident my switchology is correct :-) I have searched the forum but it seems things work one week, then not the next. Whats the current situaton? Domestos

Is there any way to make the MiG-21 hear the AWACS? I'm having great fun in a MiG-29 on fast alert, but It's a bit difficult in the 21 cos you have to keep interrogating the EWR and it seems to me that it's not accurate (or up to the minute) This is a great server, I'd honestly given up on DCS till I found this.

Great Campaign!!! best I've played in the A10... But................. I'm stuck on Op Hammerfall part 3. The cloud base is below most of the mountains and If I go below I can't get LOS on the target. I've been diving through the cloud using the TAD map and hoping I don't hit the ground. This has been one of the most stressful days of my life!!! I've watched Ralfi's video but his cloudbase was 11500' in my missions it's 8500' Any tips??

I too have been inspired by Bunyap to have a go at this campaign.... whats the recommended method of killing tanks in the su25? I would have thought the kmgu's but I'm not getting any kills at all. (and after a weeks worth of practice before work, I AM ACCURATE!!

Whilst we're on the subject, are there any tips for settings to maximize visibilty in an A2A situation in terms of Antialiasing etc. Does HDR help or hinder? I have a 22 inch Dell monitor at 1920x1080 but as I'm getting older I find it hard to track another aircraft in a dogfight. I have cleaned my glasses btw.

Don't forget you'll have the SU25T to play with fer nothin'. I'd go for the Mig-21. You don't even need to have opponents to scare yourself to death. Try the mission where you use the RSBN system to get down through the clouds and back to base. Imagine doing that IRL after you've been flying a combat sortie and faced possible death. Respect to Mig-Pilots!!

Hallooo I've decided to try mission building and I've hit my first snag. I put two F4's in the air approaching from Turkey as fodder for my Mig21. No matter what speed/altitude I use they seem to be using full burner so they'll probably never get to me. What speed/alt should I put for them? Is it really KMH theyre showing? Any tips for a Noob would be gratefully accepted. Domestos

Is it me or is the SU25 campaign in DCS world broken...? I've been playing the first couple of missions over and over but it either crashes or.. The diamond markers in the HUD are over friendlies, there's no smoke markers as promised and it just seems to not make sense to me. What's wrong???

First off.... I apologise for posting this but I've just spent almost seven hours surfing the forums but just got confused. What file do I need to edit in FC2 to maximize my Shkval viewing distance and which parameters do I need to tweak. I need the most up to date info as lots of it seems to contradict itself. Basically.. I want to maximize target visibility in the shkval and mk1 eyeball and remove translucent buildings. I guess theres an AA setting that will help too? I really enjoyed mission 3 of the deployment campaign... killing the targets was easy, but the IFR transit over the mountains through cloud and descending into the river valley trusting my Abris was one of the best flight sim experiences I've ever had. It was a bit like riding a motorbike with your eyes closed. (7 seconds @60mph is my personal best) Domestos
