  1. I'm enjoying it and is a lot of fun to fly
  2. big file may take awhile...I guess I should have my 109 key ready for when it is done
  3. the landing video and a new icon placed above, would tell us that its a go!!
  4. I think flaps may have been recommended for use on a short field, or if to clear an obstacle, or if in a no wind situation with a short field ...may be only 10 degrees or so, someone may have some manufacturers literature on this
  5. I wonder if they included the Bosch warning horn, as can be heard in DB 605's first video @6:00
  6. would be cool, press H to put on your helmet
  7. I like that idea!..
  8. that explains it, thank you
  9. I thought that the slats protrude outwards more, when the aircraft is at rest on the ground...guess I had that wrong
  10. I think for some of us, we draw on our many air show visits. I know that its hard to get those sounds into a game. More than the sound issue, we are all looking forward to flying this baby soon
  11. Wow 103!...he thought like a survivor, flying when visibility was low
  12. Nice takeoff!...So what is the approximate Normandy map release date that they are shooting for?
  13. sweet!...I don't think that I can wait now, oh.. I have no choice :P
  14. Had seen this before, thanks...I hope the team was able to give us a decent exterior/outside engine sound, no one has done that yet in the games that I have owned :pilotfly:
  15. that would suck, running out of gas due to a hit or 2 in game
  16. Hotfix!!
  17. I doubt that many pilots left the gun there that blocks the view...I would have worn it on my body, down by my ankle as seen above
  18. Messerschmitt probably had put all of that on paper, I always wondered what happened to their data collection...perhaps burned by a allied bombing run :( Yeah!
  19. your right, I wish that they would release it already :D
  20. I have not so far found any charts concerning wing lift/weight :noexpression: Messerschmitt Bf 109K NACA 2R1 14.2 NACA 2R1 11.35 "one of the secrets of the Me109 is its wing. A unique design like no other. The Me109 used flaps and leading edge slats with a NACA 2R1 14.2 airfoil at the root so that a max lift coefficient of 2.0 could be achieved.
  21. maybe they could move it to under the arm...I can call for help then, when I'm shot down..lol
  22. I like the 5 page aircraft description over at the store, I wonder if that is Luthier's work
  23. Careful, a lot of power so you don't want her to get away from you, the visibility is poor and she needs constant rudder, landing final should be a short jog, not the long run like we use with the P-51...turn near the field and line up quickly to set her down
  24. I didn't have a problem with using the brakes ,it was just an observation that the aircraft was tippy...pilot reports were opposite, so my post was that of hoping
