Thanks for the test Nate, and that's awesome. I mean the possibility of the gameplay, one might put AI planes that just sit in the airbase so the commander can dynamically plan a flight (for either AI or clients) accordingly to the situation change.

Which flightplan is going to be adopted for player when you set a path for AI air-unit prior to RAlt+J? original flightplan or the new one? If the latter, it could be used as a dynamic flight planning ..right?

We had this issue in our private server yesterday night. In several hours, all of the clients in the server gets CTD, and those wiped out can no longer rejoin even though the server is still running. Any temporary solutions or tips to avoid the issue is welcome...:helpsmilie:

Something I happened to know when playing =RF= server.. Go to option, change icon style to Russian, load mission, save mission in ME, now change back to NATO style icon, load the mission on LAN server or internet server, go check F10 menu. F10 map icons are swapped to ME icon instead of original F10 icon and imo it's much better.

From what I understand, you set how you intercept the waypoints. So the attitude of localizer for steerpoint would be changed according to the settings. For example (Im not explaining how they use in IRL) Deadly accurate waypoint set for runway Approach VNAV 3D ENTERED Angle -2.5 With correct HSI heading set for runway It is hard for me to explain with my poor English skill however with the settings above, localizer acts much more like ILS HUD indicator of Russian planes in FC2 (MIG29, SU27, SU33 and SU25T). You dont need to think about anything but just keep the localizer "+" center, you'd be on track on the runway with -2.5 degree glide slope, without ILS or any other visual device like HUD. If you wish, you would be able to land on runway in dense FOG environment without ILS.(way easier than ILS imo) Above is just one example. Some might use the features for ingress phase of strategic bombing or for just turning point but again, I have no clue what they(Pilot in IRL) usually use it for. -
Hi Druid. Thank you for the reply and it is nice to hear it is on request list. Thats interesting to know.. I believe I did try to suspend client flight with deactivating it but IIRC it didnt work before... I'll try again.

Withdraw / add client flight in flight list in MP to reproduce ATO. [Example for add] "Once" "Unit (Enemy1) inside trigger zone (Grid A)" "Activate flight(ClientA) / Flag(1) True" [Example for withdraw] "Once" "Time 300sec since Flag(1) / Unit dead (ClientA)" "Withdraw Flight (ClientA) / Activate group(AI-A)" So the outcome would be.... If enemy ground unit got inside the trigger zone placed for a grid, new client flightA gets activated (added) in the flight list in MP. If the client fllight was activated but client didnt take the flight within 5 minutes, remove(withdraw) the flight from flight list and then activate AI flight instead. Currently, if I put client flight in the mission, it stays in the flight list forever. You cant either add or remove them from the list which I think should be changed sooner or later.

Hi Smoky:) I completely agree with you on this. in 2008 Nov ED fulfilled 2008 graphic combat sim which has true clickable cockpit with very complex avionics that other company havent reached before. and finally we are able to grab it now and are able to play that level of flight combat sim today. so, the more I think DCS as a "complex study sim", the more I feel sad that we cant play that in long-term because of mission system limit. I mean, BS level of sim is too precious to give up as "just study sim" with limited mission system. ...dont you think?

yep. BS is the first application that made me think to go for Vista. I cant help hoping ED to release patch that gives affinity boost for XP -
yeah US multirole fighter with complex avionics isnt out yet after Falcon4(still F4 isnt 100% though) but I dont think it is the only reason ppls gettin into 10 years old sim. dont say you forgot the taste of auto dynamic mission generator in campaign and briefing capability since you tasted those ;-) I really hope something new mission sysetem'll be implemented in next DCS module. DCS A-10's screenshots are awesome indeed. Merrychristmass guys:pilotfly:

I(and friend of mine) have experienced exactly same as yours. it was long flight(about 2 hours and half)...and not only lasering but also datalink system is fecked up at the same time. if I crash and get new A/C, the problem is completely disappeared restarting laser switch didnt make any difference... but how about restarting weapon system swtich that is to the right of ejection arm switch? I havent tried it yet. can we have ED's opinion about this? :)

I think trimming in BS is accumulating stick/pedal position over previous trim(previous stick/pedal position) and when trim input gets stronger than AP, AP is fecked up by trim input. so, thats why I press trim reset button before performing AP+trim especially when I want to perform stable hover hold.

I hope it works too. ----first--- an IP thats start from 192.168 is local IP. which is given by router. an IP that is like 219.234.754.233 is Global IP. which is given by internet provider. --------------- ---router--- this is for ex... if your router's local IP is "192.168.11.1" it will give local IP (192.168.11.X) to your PC's when you turned on PC. ( X might be 3 , 12 , 69 or 25 .....etc its random.) so, you have to fix your HOST PC to have Pre-Planned IP from router. because you can open one Port( 10308 for BS ) only for one local ip. ------------- -----this for example, if my router ip is 192.168.11.1 and I decided to fix my host PC as 192.168.11.7 and open 10308 for it---- 1) I go to Windows control panel and fix my local IP as 192.168.11.7 2) and go to router page from InternetExplorer by accessing http://192.168.11.1/ enter id and password 3) open UDP and TCP 10308 for 192.168.11.7 4) I start server 5) tell friends to access MY GLOBAL IP from BS done! :) ---------------------
