Hi since the latest up update i've been experiencing a CTD. Here's my log files, if someone can help me figure out what's causing it that'd be great. I've increased my pagefile to 5gb i have loads of space on the SSD (DCS is on a separate SSD to windows), deleted FXO and metashaders, carried out a repair, deleted and reinstalled the JF17... dcs.log-20191204-211207.zip

As far as I've experienced this, it's to do with having "forced" the autopilot to disengage. So if you have autopilot on and you pull some hard manuveures and it turns off, then I have to double press the autopilot light/button/switch to get it to re-engage. I always thought that was just the way it was, but maybe it is a bug.

So where are flare/chaff counters now? I had a blast chasing down fighters yesterday, but couldn't see the countermeasures tuicking down anywhere.

When you begin the attack on the insurgents the lead chopper clips the trees and breaks the mission.

After attempting to lock a buddy and then undesignating him via the jhmcs my radar scan azimuth refused to scan the RHS and the elevation controls would not respond. I tried to reset it using the reset button on ddi, master arm on/off, target undes, aa mode, ag mode, turned the radar to off and back on again via the rotary by my hip and also switching weapons. Spent yesterday afternoon playing with self lasing, then recovering from whatever the plane had decided to do when i was heads down.... Autopilot will be greatly appreciated when it materialises. I find the tpod so much easier to use than the dmt. The slew rate on the dmt is soooo slow it hurts.

I have a weird problem where since installing a steam link and controller to my TV in the next room the default capture device in SRS defaults to "steam mic", and I have to switch it over to my usb 2 mic. I've returned the usb2 as my defulat recording device in Windows 10, but SRS auto selects the steam one when opened. Anyone got any idea how to get round this minor annoyance?

Intriguing, so I have a i5 7500, 16gb corsair lpx, and a 1060 6Gb card. Am I underpowered to compete or is it worth dipping a toe?

I think the tutorials could be more indepth or a bit more paced out. The wall of text approach in some of them is a bit overwhelming at times, also be better for me personally if they were audio too.

Hi guys, Love this module, but I have a few questions. The uncaging of fox 2s, is there an indicator in the cockpit somewhere to show whether it's caged/uncaged? Do you use your radar to track/lock and engage re the training missions, or do you just get them in your boresight and wait for a tone before loosing your fox2s? Thanks, JackHammer

I picked up the t16000m flight pack off amazon for £153 delivered about 2 weeks ago. It's the pack with the pedals, throttle and stick.

Has anyone got a link, or can explain (preferably with pictures) how to use chaff properly/effectively. I don't entirely understand what notching is either...

A few of the "standard" set ups have one sidearm and one sidewinder on the other side.

I am also having this problem, didn't realise they needed a 3min warm up but I spent about 30mins flying round some tanks trying to get the mavs to work. I also can get my TDC to slew, it tries to move then just pings back up to the original point. I assume it's something I'm doing wrong.

When I enable the HMS and look at a point on the screen then zoom, I lose the HMS reticule off the screen. Is this something I need to adjust in facetracknoIR or is there a setting to adjust it in DCS. I don't know enough to know where to start.

Smashing guide, just did a few single player missions with these tactics and when I dont make a mistake (mistakes made 90% of the time) I get a kill or two and even complete the mission sometimes!

Hi guys, I just plugged in Vinnie Jones' settings and the graphics are lovely. For note I'm running i5 7500 not-OC, 8Gb corsair vengeance lpx 2133mHz, 6gb 1060 palit card at default settings. I have V-sync on atm and only managed a quick 1-2min flight before bed but it sat at 60fps for the whole flight over sukhumi in a Ka50.

I have a i5-7500, 1060 6bg and 8gb ram. Think I'm gonna have to do some mega upgrading. Sorry wallet.
