  1. Order #4511 arrived and is installed. Very simple install, and setup. Thanks for your mod! Very happy customer here.
  2. I had the same issue! Performance was stellar, newest updates sent the frames to shit. I shut off the shadows, and had WAY better performance.
  3. After about 6 or so hours of tweaking I think I finally managed to find out what was causing my issues in VR, and have a stable 45 FPS throughout the whole game. I have a high-end PC, and I was getting 22 FPS on the Supercarrier decks (in certain scenarios), along with other areas with high traffic (mainly on the ground). I was also getting a really bad stutter when looking out the sides, along with flutter/ghosting. It was happening the worst when I would start at a cold start on the carrier deck. Looking forward, right, up, back I had a 45 FPS on the ground. When I would look to the left, even slightly, the FPS dropped considerably. In flight, when I looked at the carrier, the FPS would drop to a nauseatingly bad level. End result: turning OFF shadows completely solved the FPS issues. I am able to run some really descent settings after I did this. I also forced the ASW on through Oculus Debug, which helped with the stutter/flutter looking around. Perhaps ED can look into this and fix it to have the shadows back?
  4. Why don't they let you have access to the SDK?
  5. Do we have access to the module yet? The Steam page says it's in early access. I do not see a wallpaper for it, or any missions related to it. How do we access the content?
  6. Where can I find the stable version of the mod? EDIT: Going to go with the latest beta version on DCS.
  7. Shader version: 2.5.6.47224 Game is on Steam and updated to latest stable (not beta) version.
  8. I am getting this error on startup. All instructions followed, shader files deleted. No mods other than a hangar scene, which mod still crashes when that's disabled. Game is at latest Steam version. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bazar\shaders\deferred\reflections.fx(91,13-23): warning X3207: Initializer used on a global 'const' variable. This requires setting an external constant. If a literal is desired, use 'static const' instead. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\bazar\shaders\deferred\reflections.fx(225,3-68): error X3017: 'DecodeGBufferReflection': cannot implicitly convert output parameter from 'float3' to 'float4' Any ideas?
  9. It seems to me that making the game render on both the VR headset and the monitor would tax your computer even more than it would by just putting the image on the VR headset alone. 2 questions... Does this make a difference? Is there a way to make the game only render on the headset?
  10. Any way to fix the fuzzy or faint DDI text? There is no in between.
  11. You can adjust the size of the viewport in the monitor config file.
  12. How do I thicken the font on the MFCDs? It's hard to read them!
  13. Notice some microstutters. I have vsync on and the frames bounce in the 50s. I looked into my log files and see a lot of errors. They seem to be texture errors. Any hints on what could be causing these errors??
  14. It works when I double click the tabs. Windows 7 let me just tap them once. No setting in the Tablet PC settings helps this.
  15. Just updated to Windows 10 now Helios will not install at all. It is asking about .net framework client profile 2.0. I have the latest .net framework. EDIT (Fixed by enabling .net 2.0 in Windows Features and Downloading DirectX runtime) NEW PROBLEM. The side panel buttons appear when pressed but do not stay on. They disappear instantly. Any ideas?
  16. I have owned an X-55 for 3 years now. I am most likely going to upgrade to a Wharthog, but what is bad about the X-55? For the price, it's a damn good peripheral. The only thing it lacks is a 4 way on the thumb part of the stick and a proper slew device on the right. It is a minor inconvenience, but not game immersion breaking.
  17. Did you set your resolution to reflect your total display area? For instance my 2nd monitor is set below my main monitor in the Windows Screen Resolution window. So my total monitor in DCS is 1920x2160. You have to also set this in the options menu of DCS. You then have to go into the Monitor config file provided and set the x and y in there so it shows up in the right position of your second screen. His pre-loaded positions are set for his monitor.
  18. Load the 388.71 Drivers. Reduce your shadows. Reduce your preload to 40,000. Adjust your clutter. Turn off Civilian traffic. Adjust your vis range to high. Turn on Vsync. I bet you see 60 almost everywhere. You have a better system than me and these items I mentioned helps me get an almost constant 60 FPS.
  19. I went that route and noticed an improvement. The newest drivers suck. Turning the main shadows down to flat helps. Reduce the load radius to around 40,000 helped. For some reason changing the Anisotropic to x16 helped too. Having Vsync off will cause stutters. If your frame rate bounces from 100 to 50, or whatever, then you will notice that. Having a constant 60 FPS makes the drops to 40 FPS are not that noticeable to me.
  20. Any plans to make a Hornet profile?
