  1. Section of the Himalayas, Tibet plateau, Silk Road, Khyber Pass Egypt and Suez Canal, Helicopter Counter insurgency operations in West Africa or South Africa and Pirate operations
  2. Surely it is just referring to the Flight Model fidelity in relation to itself? A bit of introspection. I have been playing since "Lock On - Modern Air Combat" so I can see that broad-brush description of the title's evolution.
  3. Just bought the map yesterday, Im a very casual player, have loved flight sims since the 1980s but just dip in and out now and then. Really enjoyed flying about the map, the seemless undulations were beautful and something that hit me for the first time in a flight sim. My initial impression was that this is from WWII, the radar installations, steam trains, look of the buildings and roads. But I am from the UK and the number of houses did come across as slightly off for a historial map, London was at its historical peak population just prior and the political dispersal of population into the South East had yet to happen.
  4. Sorry, to clarify I grabbed that image off the internet, the box wasnt specifically my idea of a single map but more suggesting the potential for a map in that area. But yes easy to get carried away with maps!
  5. I think this would be an exciting map, with dramatic mountain ranges, tree filled valleys and tea plantations rolling into fast plains dotted with villages and temples. It could involve ficticious conflicts between India and China near Nepal/Tibet or India and Pakistan around Kashmir. You would have to decide between helicopter or jet aircraft when considering altitude of battle areas. Expanding this region up Central Asia to the "Silk Routes", protecting convoys and railway lines.
  6. Hi I had that problem with the landscape and especially the strangely flat lime-green trees. The problem is that the "defferred shader" option hasnt activated. It is ticked by default, but to get it to kick in I had to turn it off, play a game, go back in and reselect it then play a new game and you should see a dramatic difference. Defferred Shader should be on and HDR off.
