  1. In the latest 1.5.8 OpenBeta this has been fixed for me. Thank you so much ED :)
  2. I was hoping that they'd patch this issue last Friday but sadly they haven't. Fingers crossed, I sincerely hope they have this fixed for 2.5. For this bug to still be there would be the biggest letdown of the century.
  3. This doesn't work for me either. Often when opening the Module Manager I get a popup saying "Failed to retrieve data, please try again later" however after hitting OK it seems to work fine. Perhaps this has something to do with the issue?
  4. I'm just getting so fed up and frustrated with this bug at this point. I maintain that I think this has something to do with the network connection a computer has -- a connection with high ping, perhaps, or a connection in a foreign country. I tried rolling back my game to the previous 1.5.8 version, and the server list does show up (with only one server though, but I'm guessing that's because it's the only one anyone is actually hosting). I didn't change anything about my computer or network. This confirms to me that it is an issue with the game, and not with something people have done incorrectly with their computers. If this isn't fixed by 2.5 then I'm going to write an angry letter to someone, somewhere.
  5. :noexpression: Welp, I have to apologize and retract this 'bug report' because yes indeed I missed this. Thank you for the help everyone. :pilotfly:
  6. Can you confirm this puts your ABRIS (MFD screen) into English? Because that is not the case for me, it only changes the cockpit labels.
  7. This isn't a bug, but a pretty massive problem that I've been having. By default the Ka-50's cockpit and ABRIS are in Russian, however in the settings you can change the cockpit only to English. If you want to have the ABRIS in English as well, you have to edit a .lua file. My problem here is that putting the ABRIS in English means that the game fails the integrity checks and thus won't let me play on my favorite servers. The frustrating thing about this is that I could handle a Russian cockpit as buttons are easily identified by their position and appearance, but the ABRIS' GUI is hard enough to learn even in English. Could ED please add an in-game setting to turn the ABRIS to English so we don't have to edit any files?
  8. I've had this for over a week, and no, nothing I do fixes it. This is a bug with DCS. If ED isn't going to patch 1.5 then lets hope 2.5 comes out sooner than later.
  9. In my case the bug persists despite checking to make sure the game is up to date. The bug only emerged after the latest update, in fact.
  10. This happens to me in every single plane, can confirm. It only happens on multiplayer, I would assume mainly because in singleplayer it pauses the game when you adjust the controls.
  11. Variations of this bug have been appearing for a number of people after the latest patch. In my case, I cannot see any servers at all, no matter what I try. It's a terrible bug, but it seems like not too many people have it. Hopefully ED gets around to fixing it soon though.
  12. I've been having exactly the same problem, and I've indeed tried all the possible workarounds (including disabling literally every single firewall everywhere); I made a post on Reddit about it. It seems to be affecting a small amount of people, but it's directly linked to the latest update. My two cents is that it might have something to do with slow connections and the timeout being too small? Just a guess. I would implore ED to really prioritize this, because while it's not affecting everybody, those it does affect basically cannot play the game. I haven't been able to play on any of my regular servers for over three days now.
  13. It seems to be like a big part of the court decision was the intent of the person trying to get the Harrier, and perhaps most importantly, the fact that he didn't actually earn the Pepsi points but instead bought them (which I guess was part of the promotion, but still goes a bit contrary to the advertisement's theme). Keep in mind that the FTC does acknowledge and allow satire in advertising, and if you read up on the case there was a significant argument for why the Harrier part of the commercial was completely satirical. If I was PepsiCo, I'd have given them the Harrier. It wasn't worth the monumental amount of bad press.
  14. Yes. If you press the button in the game right now, you'll find that in normal forward flight, with your throttle at 100%, the engine RPM will jump from 109% to 111%. Of course keep in mind that running at either of those RPMs will damage the engine after 15 or 10 minutes respectively.
  15. According to the pocket guide, they say that ED hasn't made the relevant tech to support the mini jammers, so as of now there are no plans for it to ever be implemented.
