  1. Thank you for the input, I appreciate it!
  2. Well that is likely why it doesn't work. I only have the 2nd one :\
  3. I sure did!
  4. Yes, purchased for the L-39C I could not open the overlay. I'm running beta.
  5. I purchased, downloaded, and installed the NS 430 for the L-39. I see the NS 430 in the options in the game. I do not see it in the L-39 in the front, or rear seat. I use Oculus Rift. Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
  6. So here's the issue: When you get into a dark F-18 cockpit, the throttles are at FUEL CUTOFF. When you start the engines and hit SHIFT HOME or ALT HOME, you bring the throttles to FLIGHT IDLE The game has the throttle calibrated from IDLE CUTOFF to FULL POWER The game should have the throttle calibrated from FLIGHT IDLE to FULL POWER Visual representation: ----================ ================== First set of lines show the game range of throttle Second set of lines show the physical throttle range Due to the issues expressed above, when you physically move your throttle forward, you DO NOT see the throttle in the cockpit move until about 15% of physical movement. Saturation to 85% is only a work around and should be fixed in DCS, or at least an option for the user to choose how they want the throttle to work. Anyone even have a throttle that has the fuel cutoff gates?
  7. SHOWOFF!! Just kidding, great pic and alignment is spot on =)
  8. I like where your head is at =)
  9. It's like the ground effect is actually inverse of what it should be.
  10. Every time I've tried the "Dispense" button it dumps them ALL.
  11. I'll pass that along! Thank you for the kind words. He did 484 missions in Vietnam, 2 Distinguished Flying Crosses (both were recommended as Silver Stars and downgraded by some puke in Washington DC), and 34 air medals. He LOVED the A-4. He also did an exchange program on his second tour in 68/69 with the Air Force flying 2 seat F-100's with the Misty FAC's. He was active for 12 and 8 as reserve, all out of El Toro except for the 1.5 years in Pensacola FL between tours as a VT-3 instructor. There's an A-4 on the deck of the Midway in San Diego that my dad flew. It's currently painted in Navy colors but the bureau number is 154977 which he flew in VMA-134.
  12. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar
  13. How long were you in 311 and what years? My dad was in 211/311 out of El Toro, eventually the CO of VMA-134. He was with 311 in Chu Lai, 1965-1966. Thank you for your service!
  14. My dad flew A-4's in the Marine Corps for 22 years, I'm very excited to see this! VMA-214 in 1968. Dad is back row, 4th from the right. He had to hunch down a tad to pass the physical to fit in the A-4. Flight line photo from Chu Lai. Bunch of A-4's on the ramp.
  15. Please explain how, I've never heard of this feature other than Tacan 1 for a tanker.
  16. ^^ This man understands. The AV-8B wasn't designed to have a huge combat radius and long loiter times. It's tiny, very very tiny. Each wing is only 15ft long and it looks like a pissed off gnat. The beauty of the AV-8B is it can be operated at a forward base without a runway whereas things like A-10's, F-18's, F-18's, and more, need thousands of feet of runway to do their job. The Harrier doesn't need runways and has the ability to aerial refuel.
