  1. Is there somewhere an indication about the deviation of the Nav-system? In other words, when exactly do I know that I have to correct the nav-coordinates?
  2. What do you mean with INU alignment? The correction of the nav-coordinates?
  3. Thanks for your reply, Oakes. I will take a look at this programm. Takamba
  4. Ashes on my head... :music_whistling: Thanks for that detailed answer, Acedy!
  5. Thanks for your answer, AlphaOneSix! Is this exactly how it is simulated in the game? In the chapter about the autopilot is nothing written to press and release the collective break (F) every time I want to change the altitude for the autopilot. Please correct if I am wrong.
  6. I know the ground effect as well, I do also have some experience with R/C helicopters, but this is years ago. Was a funny but expensive time.
  7. To hover in ground effect is like walking on eggs :smilewink:
  8. Thanks for your reply, Amraam. So it seems to be deactivated at start of the mission? Any other experiences with the collective lever break?
  9. In real life, the collective break must be deactivated to move the lever up and down. How is that simulated in the game? Do I have to press "F" all the time I want to move the collective lever? Or is it like the parking break, once deactivated, it is allways deactivated? I will get a russian version of DCS next week, now I am just learning as much as I can :smilewink:
  10. Remeber, the NVG (night vision goggles) are instead of the HMS. So you can not have both on bord of your aircraft.
  11. Hi pit builders I have an old USB-Joystick and I would like to build my own Ka-50 collective pitch lever and it should be configured in the GUI only. Now for example the switch to set the shkval zoom does have 2 positions! Can I use a normal 2-position switch or does I have to use an impulse switch with a middle position? If I use a 2 position switch it would be the same to PRESS AND HOLD DOWN the corresponding key on the keyboard untill I want to use the other zoom value. Is that a problem? The same for the free turbine RPM switch.
  12. If the Flight Director is activated, the autopilot will give you diffrent advices on the HUD (like: Bank, Pitch, Altitude, Speed) how to steer the aircraft to the next waypoint selected in the PVI. In this mode you have to steer the aircraft manually! Not shure, but I think you should press and hold trim while steering the aircraft to the new settings?! If you want the aircraft to follow the route automatically, Flight Director Mode should be deactivated.

  14. I think ED makes its money with the contracts with ANG/USAF! The A-10C DTS, for example...
  15. That would be great, because a have no idea how to use the foxy.
  16. Hi there In Lomac i have configured my Cougar in the GUI only without using the Foxy-Software. Is it possible to add this trim-mode to Foxy and download it into the Cougar and the rest of the buttons and axis are configured in the GUI only? Or do I have to reprogramm all my settings with foxy to be able to use this trim-mode?
