Disengage auto hover maybe?
-
It's is not possible. However you can point your aircraft yourself to the right heading and engage the route mode. it will mainting heading and speed for you
-
It should be possible using precise targeting for the AI planes and using trigger starting once the AA and Sams group are dead.

Radio Maykop only works around Maykop There is something in the FAQ about adding your own broadcast station http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=568728&postcount=21 I remember also some threads about building radio stations but i can't find them

Your road block mission was nice. I'll try this one. Thanks
-
Same for me. At the beginning of the mission it works fine but after 20 mins of flying when i activate NVG my fps goes from 35 to 8

Trimming BEFORE takeoff is what works best for me too

This is a single player mission i use to pratice formation flying. This is a cold start mission and the goal is to rejoin a hind who has the same route from Gelendzhik to Krymsk. The route consist of long legs so you can test and improve on different formations. No need to hurry for takeoff the hind flight is using the trigger system when you approach waypoint #2 Hind speed : 200 kph Hind barometric altitude : 500 m Training formation.miz

I sent Igor (wingman #2) to engage enemy armor while i was destroying air defense. Just after destroying the last shilka i see a bandit poping flare and heading towards me. I quickly lock him with my shkval and shoot! Wohooo splash one! Hey Igor did you see that? Igor? ... I remember just before pushing the trigger i told to myself : "eh eh it's really look like a black shark on my shkval"

If you got the english version you can try the 'Shooting Range' mission
-
Thanks, that answers the question.

Sorry but i don't get it Edit : Oh ... you mean the score screen while in game?
-
Hi, When we end a single offline mission how do we know if the mission was successfull or not? I can't find it in the manual neither here on the forums. The manual is speaking about the score settings in the mission editor but i did not see any score in the debriefing window. Thanks for any help or hint about this guys!

Here is a modest mission i made while discovering the mission editor. You must defend a bridge from an icoming attack of tanks. bridge_defense.miz

Rotors Running - Refuel/Rearm - it's possible!
sonic replied to Zorrin's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
Did you went back on the intercom channel to check if they were still yelling at you? I have the impression that not matter what you do they yell at you. -
Ok i made it tonight! :) Nice mission it was cool to succeed finally! When i was reviewing the track i saw the nasty Stinger shooter number 2. He must be good to get those shoot on us. I leant two things with your mission : 1 - Study the flight plan in the mission editor before flying the mission. Note the safe altitude to maintain if you ever get in the clouds. 2 - When in enemy territory fly low, fast and try to avoid flying in a straight line for too long. The meteo setting was very nice. Flying with no visibility made me nervous : i was telling to myself "just maintain xxxx meters and keep on the flight plan!" Oh and the landing in the sunset : wonderfull! Thanks again and i'll look forward your next mission! PS : You might look into the payload of our wingman (he is empty). It may be on purpose.

I managed to pass the second man pad on my last try. Just to crash on a mountain with no visibility. I need to study the flight plan so i know the secure barometric altitude when in the clouds :)
-
Hi and thanks for your mission. The second man pad just shot me tree times in a row and nothing i can do about it :( He gets me every time.

And the hud does not correspond to the flight director mode ...
-
No because ejecting breaks the rotor blades.

I have assigned the X52 mouse to landing lights using bands on X and Y axis so i can have a neutral zone. I also remapped in game command for the landing light with the left shift modificator because for some reason right control was not working well with my X52

Based on my impressions (not on the manual) it feels like the same thing

I just tried the "trim button pressed method" and it works good plus it makes wonders when making a constant turn : i now have free time to observe the field instead of concentrating on the turn itself!
-
Thanks for all your replies! So there seems to be two ways to make straffing attacks : - use the flight director mode to align OR - keep the trim button pressed untill you align on target. Release trim button so the autopilot will keep you in line with your target. I will try the trim method tonight :) Thanks again for your anwers.
