  1. +1... also curious... would love some scattered showers on a partly cloudy day with god rays..
  2. that doesn't sound contrary to what i said... im at 4k.. SMAA is not practical... which is what Headwarp was saying... we concur that it is practical for lower resolution monitors where the GPU can handle super sampling a lower resolution.. it is not practical to super sample high resolution because no current gpu can do that effectively... so, that it what is meant by yep..
  3. apparently you may want to check this as well.. autoexec.cfg and or Nvidia ShadowPlay (Overlay) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203644&page=2
  4. probably Nvidia trying to steal our souls.. glad you guys got it fixed.
  5. might want to try killing all in game AA and using either FXAA in Nvidia Control panel just set to ON with no other changes,.. or download and install Reshade and use SMAA in that.. https://reshade.me/ Reshade Install video
  6. what resolution?
  7. got it... is it only the Nvidia vsync's that dont work?.. cause all my nv control panel settings work in windowed mode.. haven't messed with the nvidia sync options though.. they are there, i just use the in game vsync..
  8. yeah.. if you watch the GPU load between x2 and x4, it significantly increases.. and still has the freakin jaggies haha!!
  9. serious question.. do you find it advantageous to sync more than 60fps?.. if so, why? or what is the effect?
  10. You running 1440p?... What GPU?...
  11. yeah.. no doubt it could use likely a lot of optimization... mostly i want to see a lightweight AA implementation that can rid the dam jaggies!!.. Reshade does a pretty good job for post process filter... but it would be cool if ED could pick up where that leaves off.. but im not really complainin too much.. everythin looks pretty dam sweet at 4k.
  12. @BitMaster nice... im at 4k so its not really feasible to use SSAA.. I dropped the res last night and tested at 1440p fullscreen SMAAx1.5 and x2 and it was a cakewalk for the 1080ti... but soft on my screen.. For the most part at 4k everything looks killer with MSAAx2 or using Reshade, but some of those shimmers refuse to die... still though, looks incredible locked at 60fps and runnin about 56-75% GPU @ 50c...
  13. yeah.. it is definitely computationally expensive for the GPU... were you running with VSYNC or no?.. what kind of fps numbers did you get?
  14. @(504)Blade not sure... heard some others were saying it wasn't working well with VR so far..
  15. oh... there it is.. hmm... too bold.. thanks guys!!..
  16. yeah... dont get why its not showing up..
  17. hmmm... thank you... but for some reason its not working for me...
  18. How the heck do i post my system specs as everyone else has under their post's??...
  19. Win 10 Pro... Aero is enabled.
  20. SSAA will be beneficial if you are using lower resolution monitors with a decent GPU.. ex.. 1080p monitor w/980ti or above... 1440p monitor w/1070-80 or above.. SSAA wil not help you if you are running 4k.. as no GPU can effectively handle super sampling 4k at a reasonable rate at the moment..
  21. @lefty1117 did you also notice it using CPU in the Main Menu Screen for no apparent reason when in Full Screen mode?
  22. Welp... i'm sticking with windowed mode then... its still full size... looks exactly the same.. just uses less CPU for whatever reason..
  23. Anyone else notice that when in Full Screen mode, CPU load is about 10-15% higher on the primary core than when in Borderless Windowed mode?.. Display is the same.. just uses more CPU for some reason... also noticed that the CPU seems to be working harder in the Menu Screen when in Full Screen, but not at all when in Windowed mode.. ????
