  1. I have an 850W behind my beast and it doesn`t even break a sweat. The fan never even turns on, 850W is fine.
  2. I`m not touching Syria. No way, even with wishful thinking. Been with ED too long. I`ll patiently wait for the Mariana's. Cheers and Happy New Year.
  3. I have some experience in DCS from the beginning. Just a casual flyer though. I find some of the modules to be exceptional. This one surprised me. What a joy to fly. Really love shooting touch and goes with her. Nice work. I`m not impressed with the F16 though. It feels unfinished (probably is, I guess, so I don`t want to be unfair). On the other hand, the Tomcat feels good. Cheers and Merry Christmas everyone. Emra
  4. Head Tracking I use a Delan Clip (Poor Man`s TrackIR), which works fantastic by the way, and I could not imagine flying in DCS without it. Don`t know what else to say really. Cheers.

    Thank You DCS!

All criticism aside, this Super Carrier is a stunning piece of work. Congratulations to Matt Wagner and all of the development team, the support staff, and all of the great fans who supported DCS all these years. I feel privileged to have lived long enough (I am an old man now. . .Lol), to see and experience this work of art. She has come along ways since Jane's. Thanks Again. Emra

  7. I have owned CA for years but wont install it becasue it always has been broken and unfinished. I hear it is needed for the pending Super Carrier though. I wonder how that is going to work. Maybe it explains part of the delay. Who knows?
  8. The Delan Clip is a fantastic piece of kit for the money. Tough as nails and reliable as well.
  9. Now I have buyers remorse. I really do. But then I am pretty firm now in what I have purchased and have overcome the impulse to buy another module at this point (most noteably from RAZBAM). The few I have are serving my interests well. Another module won`t change what I already know about EA culture.
  10. Take off with half flaps. This is in the manual. Then set to auto after take-off and you won`t have the issue.
  11. New GPU issues Often times a new GPU requires a reboot after installation. A GPU reboot is when you unplug the GPU card from the PCI slot, re-install (plug in firmly), and reinstall the drivers. I had a similar issue with my GTX1080ti. After this, it ran a little hot until it "burned in" and now everything is perfect.
  12. Lol. . . It`s because the Reddit community is not affected by DCS political correctness when it comes to criticism. Quite simple really.
  13. To BigHairyGobbler, Personally I can`t stand rudder pedals (I will always use the twist stick) feature. I don`t like sitting up and into a desk. This is why I never bought the Warthog HOTAS which also develops issues down the road with the pot. I like sitting back with a different (slouch) posture with my feat up now and again. The Thrust Master T-16000M is a fantastic stick for the money. So is the throttle quadrant. Yes there are issues that crop up with the optical twist feature but it is easy to fix with a simple screw driver. As far as Track IR goes, I am glad I passed on this expensive kit as well. Subsequently, I bought the Delan Clip instead. Much cheaper and more reliable (stainless steel). Once set up and tweaked it works perfectly. The Grim Reaper uses it and swears by it. In respect to the aircraft you mentioned: I don`t own the F-16. I won`t buy it anyway until it is in release state and on sale. I`ve supported enough EA modules already and I don`t agree with the culture it promotes even though I fully support DCS. Concerning the AV-8B, I have no buyers remorse (purchased 50% OFF). The Harrier is a super fun ship to fly with loads of options in terms of missions etc. She also looks fantastic and is further along in development than the F-18C. As far as the A-10C goes, one can`t go wrong with her in light of what is coming down the road.
  14. Interesting article concerning the increase in Carrier production. https://nationalpost.com/opinion/david-j-bercuson-why-well-see-more-and-more-carriers-on-the-high-seas#comments-area
  15. For an extra twenty bucks you might like CA later on. Besides, you can also control combined "Air" assets as well. In theory, the Super Carrier is a combined asset within DCS World. It is listed in the same category. I would jump at the chance to grab CA at current price. On the other hand, I see your point, since CA does require an extra 60 GB for install. I hope they actually integrate the Super Carrier with CA, it would justify using CA. . . Lol.
