[ALL MODULES][SP/CO-OP] Liberation Dynamic Campaign

This looks awesome are you using an external dialog to control things in game? -
Yes it’s started from the SU-25T tab and once you exit the mission it will automatically save. Then all you have to do is when you want to play again is continue the same campaign. Just make sure when you exit the campaign just hit the green end mission button instead of the close mission. Only for MP You have to manually load the saved mission file because MP does not have campaigns.

Damn looks good!! Cant wait for the next release!!

I added the Ka-50 and mi-8 but yes you can just run the miz file if you don’t want the save game function. EDIT: My fault I added the Ka-50 and Mi-8 to the MP version and forgot about the SP one. I am reuploading right now with the helis in the SP mission. EDIT Again: Files are uploaded just redownload and install and the Ka-50 and Mi-8 will be there.

In the new version since your progress is saved the mission will automatically end in 2 hours of playing to go to the next day or you can just exit yourself. But this should help with your problem because the mission will be refreshed. The enemy fighter were a place holder situation im actually working on my own code to deploy them in the mission.

Yes I looked into this and does not return the payload of spawned units. The way they get the payload is by getting the group and unit IDs then matching them to a group within the mission file. But does not work if you spawn multiple units as their group ids and unit ids are different. So im seeing if there is possible another way to do this.

Save Game Function (aka Dynamic Campaigns!!)
A Hamburgler replied to A Hamburgler's topic in Mission Editor
Ill definitely look into it but I already have put a lot of time into my scripts and its almost complete. Definitely still going to release it because the more scripts out there the easier it is for people to learn from it. But after my initial release Ill definitely look at your scripts maybe we can work on some scripts together in the future. -
Save Game Function (aka Dynamic Campaigns!!)
A Hamburgler replied to A Hamburgler's topic in Mission Editor
Interesting but yes it does save dynamically spawned groups and yes you can transfer over the groups original names. -
I think I found the crash problem and played last night for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I’ll release the save game function separate and give some documentation so you guys can use it. But the next version of this will include a dynamic campaign for single player. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3544770#post3544770

Really glad you enjoyed that I’ll also look into the Bradley’s. But I got some good news you will no longer need to stay up late or leave your game running to finish the misssion. I created a function that saves the game so when you come back you will pick up where you left off. I made a thread for it as I will be releasing as a separate function when I’m done with it. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=213781

Save Game Function (aka Dynamic Campaigns!!)
A Hamburgler replied to A Hamburgler's topic in Mission Editor
The way I have mine set up is I just use two missions. The first one lays down the ground work to get the campaign started and the second one is the one that is played infinitely. The reason behind this is because since the first one sets up certain parts of the mission it has to use different scripts that would not work or screw up the mission when loaded again. So the second mission uses some different scripts that can be loaded at the mission start over and over again. Don't know if that made sense or not. -
So ill keep this sort and sweet. I finally made my Save Game function. This function will allow the mission maker to transfer units and their positions and the variables you want to transfer over to another mission. Don't know if this has been done before as a separate function but as far as I know it has not. The only one whos done this is MBOT with his amazing campaign. I want to give MBOT a boat load of credit for this. I had to write most of this code all new but I used his external scripting idea for this. Would have never have been able to even think about this if he never posted his campaigns. A quick run down on how it works: Now this function is great for dynamic campaigns because you can now transfer almost anything you want over. Im still working on this and will try and release this as its own function with a sample mission so you guys can build off of it and make your own campaigns. Heres a video of it in action... https://youtu.be/tcfxGAEP7ec NEW video https://youtu.be/nM0Smj05h7I

I would without a doubt recommend the AV8B so much fun to fly one of my favorite aircraft in the game. It has a lot of features already. You can do A2A and A2G combat very effectively in this AC. You got your AGMs, GBUs, AIM 9s, the targeting pod (forget the name) ect. I personally think you will be very satisfied with this AC.
