  1. Did you try reinstalling Windows..? Another thing you can try: borrow somewhere some cheap mouse, keyboard and yostick and try wih them.
  2. How far mig21 has to be from the point of explosion to survive it - in last dcs version..?
  3. Yes, it is another about clean canopy. :D I accept devs argumentation, that clean canopy is not on the top of to do list and we can use mods, if we want it. There are other issues which need devs attention. Question is: Someone wrote in those threads about canopy, that if you use mod for clean canopy, that mod is screwed after every dcs update. I would like to ask what screwed means: Does canopy only ''revert'' back to original canopy or aircraft is somehow otherwise screwed?
  4. Has that been tried?. If you run out of activations and still can activate once per month. Does it complies also for third party modules, or only for ED modules. If that is true, one doesn't need to care about number of activations, because normally we don't format PC twice per month, or change hardware every month... :D
  5. Hello, I will upgrade my RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB. Do I need to deactivate modules, which has starforce protection, before upgrade, or starforce won't complain about hardware change...?

  7. Hello, I plan to reinstall windows soon. I own following modules: FC3, Mi8, Huey, Mig21, some campaigns, Persian gulf and nttr. Question is: do I have to return license for modules, before format c:, like in standalone version, or steam versions use different activation system...?

  11. In Caucacus I didn't have any probmlems. But I didn't try it at all airports...
  12. I found frequencies in kneeboard map and set up channels, but distance indicator is at 0 and ILS needles and course needles are still.. Am I missing something, or there is a bug in Mig or Persian Gulf?

  15. Hello, I have exact steps how to repeat error. Personnaly I don't mind for this, because it is logical that, if you mess with the sensitive electronics on the ground, you break something... :D And there other more ''urgent'' problems and bugs, which should be fixed... But, piper and net is missing also, after I exit mission and load same mission once again and if same piece of code which is responsible for this glitch, could be responsible for some other problems, then this is worth attention... Bellow are steps, how to repeat ''problem'' and log file.. 1. Follow check list from guide and turn on switches for weapon management. 2. Before takeoff turn on piper and fixed net, of course, piper and net won't be shown.. 3. I you try to turn on piper and net after takeoff, they won't be shown. 4. If you exit the mission and load same mission again, piper and net won't be shown even if you follow correct procedure. 5. You have to exit and run again whole DCS... no-piper-and-net.txt
  16. That problem has been already discussed here. Before you hit start mission button, you just have to ''visit'' mission planner. You don' have to change anything there, just load the map and then exit...
  17. Yes, I checked brigthtness of piper. Update about error: If I turn on all weapons related switches on right side of canopy before takeoff, piper an fixed net doesn't light up. If I turn on those switches after takeoff, piper and net light up. If I turn on pylons power switches and sight switch and other right side switches are turned on after takeoff, piper and net light up. It seems reasonable to me, because sensitive electronics, can be damaged during rough ride on takeoff, but it is illogical that piper is working if sight switch is turned on before takeoff... Logs I'll post tomorrow, because today, at the evening probably I won't be at home..

If I flip all weapons related switches on right side of cockpit up(Missile Controller Power RV25, Pylon 1-2 Power On RV27, Gun sight Power On RV33 and missile heater), before takeoff - as is written in guide, and equip 2xR3R missile and on pylon 1 and 2 four R60 missiles, there is no piper and fixed net - I try to turn them on, after takeoff. If I turn switches in right side of cockpit up after take off, then piper and fixed net is working properly... But, if I have no weapons on pylons, I can turn switches in right side of cockpit up before takeoff and piper and fixed net is working ok.. I hope you understand problem. Have any of you experienced anything similar? DCS version: 2.5.0 stable

Do you also think, that AI and damage model need some work to be done on... :D Ok, I understand that DCS is a complex game/simulation and for that reason AI is sometimes capable of some crazy and impossible stuff, but imho in any case should not be capable to land plane damaged like that in attachments... Every C17 was hit by one R3R missile at 7000m and after that it should just crash into ground... edit: DCS version: 2.5.0 stable

  21. Hello, Is it a bug, or is something that I missed? There is discrepancy between angle of attack shown on cockpit gauge and Tacview analyzer. E.g.: at landing and flare I have on cockpit gauge AoA about 20°, but Taciew shows AoA from 4 to 6°.... edit: DCS version: 2.5 stable...
  22. Perhaps it is activation problem and modules are somehow not activated...
