Russia doesn't want the Su-47 it wants the PAK-FA and MiG-35's. The Su-47 was a demonstrator and IS inferiour to the F-22. The wing design is unique but unable to supercruise. One thing Russia doesn't have in it's borders is a $65 Billion dollar budget to build a 5th generation fighter that will be able to realistically challenge the F-22. Russia can only dream for a budget of this size and in this life you get what you pay for. If Russia has a $15 Billion dollar budget they'll get $15 billion dollar 5 gen fighter.

It wasn't an answer it was a statement. It was aimed at those who think that the Ibris-E is superiour to the AN/APG-77. I think in a realistic scenario any fighter trying to engage an F-22 using either IRST EOTS PIRATE system will be dead long before it could get a stable IR track. It "annoys" me because anyone who argues any kind of Russian fighter could beat an F-22 never backs their argument up withany decent solid facts.

The F-35 has more intergrated systems than any other fighter out there including the F-22 but I don't think EOTS would prove a significant advantage for the F-35 over the F-22. Don't get me wrong the F-35 is a very good peice of hardware for the cost, but it has nothing on the F-22.

+1 Why is that every Russian avaition fan thinks that the Ibris-E is superiour to the AN/APG-77? I don't understand why people think a PESA is superior to a AESA. Why do alot of people think stealth means "invisible" when really it means LO?. It annoys me to watch people try to compare MiG-29/35's and Su30/35/47 with true 5th generation fighters like the Raptor.

I knew the GAU-8 shell's are big but holy sh*t there bigger than I thought. The amout of propellant that Shell holds is amazing no wonder it propells the DU/HE round at supersonic speeds, I bet the amount of kinetic energy each round must contain is mind boggling.

Considering you had an unknown SLI fault I'd be very suspicious of the MB. If you don't have any duplicate components for testing you're pretty screwed for troubleshooting the MB & CPU. I highly doubt it's your PSU, those TT Toughpower 1200's are bulletproof. The only thing you can really do now is to try popping the battery out and setting the jumper on the CMOS to clear your BIOS again. If your system still wont POST I'd RMA the MB.

I didn't know this but I can confirm this is correct I just tried it.

Refer to your MB manual to be sure you have connected the correct SLI bridge to the correct connections. Please don't connect to any other bridge connections without reading the MB manual first, I don't want to be responsible if your GPU or MB goes. It's worth it for a long shot but also clear your CMOS.

OK I see, That is very strange. Don't really know what to say. Everything seems above board there. You didn't mention it so its worth asking are you running the latest version of your BIOS?. You've been overclocking your system do you think that may have something to do with this problem? Maybe try clearing CMOS?. Have you connected the SLI bridge to the correct connections? (I've done this myself before) Sorry if you've already tried this but it's worth asking. Keep at it bud, like most PC problems when you suss it out you'll kick yourself.

Hitman you can't turn SLI on because Nvidia/Vista isn't detecting one of the cards. You only get the SLI option when both cards are detected. Check and recheck everything. Pull both cards out the MB and place each card into the MB one at a time and see if you get out-put on both cards. Look for a program called GPU-Z and try to enable SLI through that.

Have you made sure the GPU is seated in the MB correctly? Short of any loose connections I'd second guess a faulty card. Are you getting two GPU's show up under device manager? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?.

Open up CMD and type format C: /fs:ntfs replace C with letter of device.
