  1. I'm experiencing this same issue and have not been able to figure out a solution. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  2. Hi! Thank you for your awesome work! Just a question, I have sort of a homebuilt mini pit. Just added another Cougar MFD (3rd) to it last week. Now my problem is that the right MFD and the center MFD (Hornet) are switched. Can I edit their order within CTS somehow, or should I just go into DCS controls and fix the OSB mappings?
  3. I've enjoyed watching the entire video. You are obviously way better at this than I am [emoji23] An area where you could improve IMHO is the trimming into E bracket to catch OnSpeed. It seemed to me you were 'searching' it, while this too should become muscle memory if you know what I mean. Love your video, thanks for sharing! Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  4. Thank you for this thread, guys. More or less setup with my 4-screen home pit setup and very happy about it. Hope the thin lines issue gets fixed soon, though [emoji6] Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  5. Nice work! Care to share some lines of code? Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  6. Keep in mind that Onspeed AoA is meant for a descending trajectory towards a runway or the deck of a carrier, not to fly level. I do it like this: 1. Throttles back and decrease muy speed to about 150 2. 'Feel' the stick by pitching a little so I get a sense of how much trim to apply 3. Apply trim down so the nose goes up. It's quite some that you need to apply. Two seconds on the trim might just do it 4. Meanwhile, go rocking the throttles 5. Trim until the flight path indicator meets the center of the E bracket 6. Now you are trimmed. Don't apply any more pitch with the stick, just roll if you vere off to left or right 7. Trim a little more if you see the fpi drifting away from center of the E 8. Now, just play with the throttles to point your fpi (flight path indicator) on the touchdown point vertically and roll with the stick for horizontal control Hope this helps. 7. Hi guys, I remember recently seeing someone post pictures of a modification to the HOTAS Warthog right side throttle, adding an extra button for CAGE/UNCAGE. However, I can't seem to find the post anymore, I was wondering how to install this extra button and how the schematics would look like. Any ideas? Did anyone see this post and know what I am talking about? Thanks!
  8. I think you guys select all the TM devices while creating the profile in TARGET. just select the throttle, nothing else. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys, I'm used to using CTS to quickly setup the HOTAS warthog stick and throttle and MFDs for use with different planes in DCS. However, I find myself having trouble getting everything setup right for the Hornet since there's no option (yet) in CTS to select the Hornet module. Do any of you use CTS and how did you get things setup?
  10. I second that, please share [emoji6] Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  11. Yeah, don't think of this lightly, Joe! Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk

  13. Damn, I'm sorry guys.... was getting my hopes up too soon :D Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  14. The map is now available in the open beta branch, so it seems. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  15. That's all fine, if someone would just fix the roll rate of these sprites it would look perfect... even if it's just sprites. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  16. I was doing some free flying info the FC3 F15 on Caucasus tonight and decided to fly through a few clouds rolling into them. I noticed that the individual "cotton balls" the clouds are composed of roll themselves. It looks to me like the roll rate of these clouds within the view is not fully opposed to the viewers roll rate. Did anyone notice the same thing? Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G935F met Tapatalk
  17. Thanks, I tried this and although the anunciator toggles nicely now, it's far from representative since whenever I press the AP button and I am not within limits, the AP will not actually get engaged but the anunciator will light up nevertheless. I'll keep fiddling with this though...
  18. Thanks DeJohn, I have a very simple profile just to test this AP anunciator. I have six in total in this profile, just to test different combinations. None of them give the obvious needed result which is AP ON -> anunciator on. I know for sure that I am missing something, hopefully you can clarify ;) AP Anunciator test.hpf.txt
  19. Hi guys, In the past I've been an avid Viperpit builder, and really (it's been more than 10 years) the world has changed. What meriad of options are available now with Arduinos and cheap screens etc. I'm now doing a simple desktop pit. It's more or less a universal design so I can accomodate the most necessary guages and controls for just about any type of aircraft. I've been fiddling with Helios for three or four days now, and I managed to get the obvious stuff going. However, there's one little thing I cannot seem to get to work as I'ld like. I have a couple of anunciators in this desktop pit. Just on-screen, really (so it's the Helios anunciators). I am trying to get one of them to indicate whether AP (AutoPilot) is engaged or not. No matter what I try (toggle or set, various Autopilot category input values), as I press the AP button on the Warthog throttle I see the AP anunciator light up just shortly or I see it toggle ON but it is never in sync with the real autopilot status. How can I fix this? There is no autopilot engaged input from DCS to Helios it seems to me.. just button presses. Any suggestions?
